How is it that by deleting a GitHub actions workflow file, you lose all history of runs for that workflow? You can view a specific historical run if you have the id, but you can no longer get the list of all runs.

Itching to update new Ventura VM stack, waiting on Xcode 14.1. I’m sure it will be the same build as the RC, but I can’t live with ‘Release Candidate’ strings floating around.

Today the @mobilenativefdn opened up a survey focusing on the larger mobile ecosystem. The goal is to get a sense of the trends in the industry across all different team sizes. We'd really appreciate it if you took a few minutes to fill it out! teapaw.org/mobilenativefdn/status…
We just launched a mobile ecosystem survey, and we’d love for you to participate! We will share out the analysis publicly via mobilenativefoundation.org. Make sure you’re building for the future by taking a few minutes to fill it out now! 🎉 surveymonkey.com/r/87QMTDL

iOS 16 sure does not like changing proxy settings.
So in Ventura you can't remove administrator rights from another account?
After using AWS for ~14 years, I've internalised a handful of design patterns that I try to apply to my own software. I'm keen to know if it's the same for other folks. Roughly: tags, IDs (thrice), limits, pagination. (I'm not going to use the thread emoji)

This month we’re doing another round of Cocoaheads Origin Stories, with @_petegoldsmith interviewing two people from the CocoaHeads community: @mataharimau, a familiar face and author for @rwenderlich; and Pat Brown, who’s taken a very interesting path to get here!

It took me a few weeks and accidental discovery to learn in iOS 16’s Home app I could get the on-off behaviour by tapping the 💡 icon as opposed to the tile. Or did they change this in a recent beta?
Someone finally implemented open source code signing and notarisation for Mach-O binaries 🎉 gregoryszorc.com/blog/2022/0… cc @StewGleadow @sirjec @_petegoldsmith (if you folks even care about this any more 😂)

Turns out seeing a couple of similar apps pop up in the past year was enough to make me sit down and actually ship the rebuild of Shortcat I’ve been sporadically hacking on the last 7 years 🥳 Novel Mac apps are hard to make and working at startups depletes mental capacity 😶‍🌫️
It’s been a long time coming, and it’s finally here! The new and improved version of Shortcat is out! Rebuilt from scratch with Swift and a new architecture, it will make many parts of the roadmap easier. Download it from shortcat.app

I bought the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and the Touch ID isn't working after going to sleep. What am I holding wrong?
“Where are my new betas at?” says I, who has touched less than 1% of the new features and APIs.
