Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.
I’m going to say it
X chat is way better than telegram.
You can engage in the timeline and on private messages, it’s just better
Claude is my wife. We’re married with three kids.
Grok is my 20-year-old mistress.
ChatGPT is my maid.
As a former founder and now an investor, I know how much work, ambition, and dedication goes into building a company and creating a beautiful headquarters in the heart of Paris.
Seeing what happened to Qonto’s offices last night is heartbreaking.
It’s never been easier to find someone and reach out via email, LinkedIn, or X.
Yet it’s never been harder to actually connect with people.
Everyone is drowning in messages.
Call me crazy but I prefer to invest in anything but b2b ai saas.
Every other category is basically on sale
A VC told me a great analogy yesterday.
Paying Mbappé or Olise €50M a year makes perfect sense. They’re worth it.
The problem is paying €2M a year to players who never leave the bench.
That’s exactly what’s happening in AI right now.
The superstars are worth billions. But we’re pricing everyone like a superstar.
Two things I disagree with here.
First, capital is absolutely NOT a commodity, especially in early-stage startups.
Second, burnout is not an inevitable consequence of being a founder.
You can work incredibly hard, be extremely ambitious, and still thrive.
Self-awareness, proper recovery, good habits, coaching, knowing when to disconnect, and not constantly comparing yourself to others can make a massive difference.
Being a founder is not necessarily a race against burnout.
Let’s stop treating ambition and mental exhaustion as inseparable.
Early-stage, late-stage, it doesn’t matter.
Venture capital is fundamentally a data game.
The founder is data. Their background, behavior, decisions, network, execution.
The market is data. Timing is data. Traction is data.
What investors call “gut feeling” or “intuition” is simply pattern recognition built on past data.
Everyone thinks they have a special instinct for spotting great founders or companies.
But instinct is just data processed by the human brain.
And I believe VC will be fundamentally disrupted by those who understand this.
