I remember @esizkur / comsecuris as well as the @_revng team doing some really nice work on making at least some QEMU-based Hexagon emulation possible 6-7 years ago, but AFAIK never to the extent that full-system-emulation was possible
I had completely missed that QuIC / Qualcomm Innovation Center had released their own qemu-fork with support for full-system-emulation since then, that's really helpful! :)
PS. Are there any advancements when it comes to Hexagon decompilers? I'm aware of the one for BinaryNinja & the Ghidra one inspired by it, that covers about 40% of the huge instruction set & where the instruction lifters were auto-generated by parsing semantic descriptions
