I don't want to “download the app” to pay for parking. I don't want to “create an account” to see a menu. I don't want to “provide feedback” on a 30-second interaction. I just want to exist in the physical world without a digital leash
this is so crazy. You can literally see from bottom to top when you’re in the hood versus when you exit the hood

I remember being 17 and competing with 40yr olds for a job at Abercrombie & Fitch during the financial crisis. Proceeding crisis after crisis. We’ve experienced, “once in a lifetime events” every 3 years for our entire lifetime.

My childhood was filled with attending my parents’ social events and hanging out with the other kids there and then falling asleep on some random couch or chair. We are losing recipes.

We’re at the age where we should be contributing to the Thanksgiving dinner anyway .. whether it’s a dish , a donation or drinks .. shouldn’t really be showing up empty handed anyway

McDonald's uses 3 different eggs. Only 1 of them is cracked in the restaurant.
The Egg McMuffin gets a Grade A egg cracked into a ring on the grill. The Big Breakfast scramble is poured from a carton of eggs and citric acid. The folded egg on the biscuits and McGriddles is eggs, nonfat milk, modified food starch, salt and citric acid. A supplier cooks it, folds it and flash freezes it. The store warms it on the grill.
Citric acid keeps a cooked egg from going gray on a hot hold, and the starch holds water in a patty that's been frozen and thawed so it doesn't weep on the biscuit. The milk adds volume and softens the bite.
McDonald’s purchases over 2 billion eggs in the US and Canada a year.
