When WLFI launched, there was fatigue around Trump’s memecoin & the political win, the sentiment was too bearish
With the rise of treasury companies all rinsing & repeating the same strategy, it feels frothy (yes I’m fudding my own bags)

WLFI presale had been open for almost 3 months (79 days), with less than 10% filled. People weren't buying it even though Trump had already won the elections on Nov 5th.
When he launched $TRUMP, and it skyrocketed, WLFI instantly filled, raising 300M @ 0.015c on Jan 19th. (FDV=1.5B).
This was one day before his inauguration.
One day later, they opened up another round, this time @ 0.05, on Jan 20th, his inauguration day. (FDV=5B)
This one took 53 days to fill, raising another 250M.
Both are in massive profit. People who bought in Round 1 are up 17x. People who bought Round 2, 5x profit. (Remember, only 20% was claimed today; the rest is vested)
Interesting thing about this trade is that it could be done with massive volume, which is not the rule; sometimes these opportunities are capped.

I don't think there will be a September cut
Powell acts on historical data and we saw that PPI rose sharply, core CPI moderately elevated, & tariffs still in play
He will be more cautious than aggressive
Market sell off in preparation for Jackson Hole Friday.
Markets are essentially pricing in hawkish tone.
In the most basic form of verbiage
- Markets think rate cuts are no longer a guarantee for September
- Powell speaks Friday, if he hints at all at no rate cuts. Market is front running the move, thus the sell off.
- If Powell comes in soft and leans that rate cuts are likely, we turbo rip.
If there are no cuts for September however it’ll be an ugly 4-6 weeks until we have clarity for October potential cuts.
Market HATES uncertainty and we are seeing that in the price action right now.
