Is there a name for the deliberate coding practice of leaving a failing test as a deliberate point that you left off for when you come back to it? Weirdly, having never heard of this practice in all my days, I've now heard it recommended twice within the space of a day.

In many ways, architectural _thinking_ is more important than architecture. Making it second nature to consider "ilities" and trade offs and contexts is valuable. The resulting architecture is just a useful side effect, and it will change over time. The thinking is forever.
