There is no such thing as a short, 3-4 day military operation—if we strike Iran, they will respond. We have consistently underestimated the most basic reality: the enemy gets a vote.
There is no military option that will persuade Iran to accept the U.S.’s terms for a deal—after 8 months of failing to restore order to the chaos it caused, the administration knows this— so what is the purpose of more strikes?
If we strike Iran by targeting more of their leaders and/or energy infrastructure, Iran will retaliate by striking Gulf energy infrastructure & U.S. forces in the region. More American troops will needlessly die, & our energy prices will continue to skyrocket.
Iran’s allies & proxies—like the Houthis, Iraqi militias, & possibly Bahraini groups—will attack Saudi energy infrastructure, the BAM/Suez, & will potentially attack the governments of Kuwait & Bahrain. We’re already unable to help the Saudis deter the Houthis—if we engage in kinetic combat against Iran, we’ll be even more incapable of assisting our already-weakened allies.
More strikes won’t change the game. Walking away & declaring victory before Tuesday sets a positive tone for the elections & resets the parameters for negotiations with Iran.
President Trump can avoid the escalation trap by walking away now, before the fog of war envelops the rest of his presidency.

مجھ سے ڈیمانڈ کی جا رہی تھی کہ میں گرفتاری دے کر عمران خان کے خلاف گواہی دوں-

میں نے جب عمران خان صاحب کو بتایا کہ میں پاکستان سے نکل سکتا ہوں تو وہ بہت خوش ہوئے اور انہوں نے فوراً UAE میں اپنے پرانے دوست عمران چوہدری صاحب سے میرا رابطہ کروایا - عمران چوہدری صاحب اور ایک ٹویٹر کے دوست نے میرے لیے سارے انتظامات کیے اور میں جولائی 2023 میں پاکستان سے نکلا-
میرے بھائی کو عمران ریاض خان کے بھی ایک ہفتہ بعد 30 ستمبر 2023 کو چھوڑا گیا-
میری اہلیہ کو مئی 2024 میں پشاور ہائی کورٹ کے آرڈر پر سفر کرنے کی اجازت ملی- پھر بھی انہیں آف لوڈ کر دیا گیا تو پشاور ہائی کورٹ نے توہین عدالت کا نوٹس ایشو کیا- پھر جا کر ان کا پاکستان سے نکلنا ممکن ہوا- تب تک 26ویں آئینی ترمیم نہیں ہوئی تھی اور عدالتوں کی تھوڑی بہت عزت باقی تھی-
یہ سب میں پہلے بھی ٹویٹس میں بتا چکا ہوں اور پبلک ریکارڈ کا حصہ ہے-

سلمان بھائی اور ان کی فیملی 9 مئی سے بھی پہلے پاکستان سے نکل گئے تھے کیونکہ ہم سب کو اپریل 2022 سے ہی اغوا کا خطرہ تھا-
سلمان بھائی بھی وہاں اپنی جاب کر رہے تھے اور ان کا ارادہ وہیں رہنے کا تھا-
مجھے UK ویزہ لینے میں چند مشکلات تھیں جس میں قاسم سوری بھائی @QasimKhanSuri نے مدد کی اور میں اپریل 2024 میں UK آ گیا-

30 April 1977, Buenos Aires. A handful of mothers whose children had been taken by Argentina's military junta gathered in the Plaza de Mayo to ask one question: where are they?
Gatherings of more than three people were banned, so they walked in pairs, arm in arm. They came back every Thursday. The junta called them "las locas" – the madwomen. That December, one of their founders, Azucena Villaflor, was abducted and never came home.
They kept walking. In 1983 the junta fell. In 1985 its leaders stood trial.

On 28 October, my aunt @Noreen_KhanPK was moved from Kot Lakhpat Jail to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. No one told the family.
Today she was moved back to jail. Again, no one told us.
We don’t know why she was taken to a cardiac hospital.
We don’t know what tests were done.
No family consent was sought.
We don’t know how much danger she is in.
What we do know: there were armed police every few feet at PIC.
What are they so afraid of?
My mother @DrUzma_KhanPK and my aunts @Aleema_KhanPK and @Noreen_KhanPK have been held in Kot Lakhpat Jail since 21 September under Section 3 of the Punjab Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, 1960. No charge. No trial.
Their only “crime” is standing up for their brother, @ImranKhanPTI.
@HRCP87 has condemned the misuse of the MPO against political workers before. We ask you to speak now.
Charge them or release them.

I as Secretary General PTI at the time was instructed by PM Imran Khan to terminate Fawad Chaudhry's basic membership alongwith others who had given statements of leaving PTI.
In addition, PM Imran Khan had my name announced from Adyala Jail as the PMs candidate to contest against Shahbaz Sharif.
PTI and our allies simply did not have the majority as our mandate had been stolen by the Form 47 regime. Thefore, how could I ever aspire to be PM?
It was PM Imran Khan who himself announced my name as Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and of Shibli Faraz sahib as Leader of the Opposition Senate.
Shibli Faraz sahib and I were awarded a 50 years jail sentence and disqualified. My assets have been frozen, business affected, faced multiple raids and still facing raids. Baton charged and received more than 54 baton strikes on my back on 25th May 2022, wounded and hospitalized. Shot at with tear gas shells on the neck and chest and wounded on 26th November 2024. Yet standing. Alhumdolillah.
