It was not an easy decision to give up the Pindrop repo, which had 600+ starts, for a brand new Sayso repo which is currently hovering around 40. But I really do believe that Sayso is a massive improvement.

Theo T3 is getting DESPERATE. he paid this guy to run v2 of his benchmark after Cloudroom ranked higher than T3 Code on the v1 because the v1 eval went viral, with over 60k views so Theo told him to *hide* Cloudroom in the v2 fully what a joke
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

Apparently one of the major selling points about Sayso that I have neglected to mention enough is that it's supported on Wayland. That means the @omarchy people can use it.

Sayso now speaks your language. Version 0.8 puts the whole app in Español, Português, 简体中文, and 日本語. It follows your system, or you can pick one in Settings. Sayso is free, open-source voice dictation for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Speech recognition runs on your computer.
