Wtf is wrong with people?? Polzeath beach during the storm. A passer-by warned a family with two small children carrying body boards not to ignore the red flag and go in the sea. According to witnesses a man exited the sea and punched him. The RNLI then arrived and stopped them.

🚨 A tiny injection could one day help cushion a damaged spine. Imagine a special gel injected directly into a worn-out spinal disc, designed to act like a soft cushion inside your back. It sounds almost like science fiction, but researchers are exploring this technology to help people with degenerative disc disease. As we age, the discs between our spinal bones can lose water and become thinner. They may no longer absorb pressure as effectively, potentially contributing to chronic back pain. Now comes the fascinating part. Scientists have developed an injectable hydrogel called NPgel. In laboratory experiments using human spinal disc tissue, the gel increased disc height and improved its ability to handle mechanical pressure. Researchers also observed signs of improved tissue activity. But there is a catch. These results came from laboratory testing of human disc tissue, not proof that the treatment can repair spinal discs inside living patients. Much more research is needed to establish its safety and effectiveness in people. Could a tiny injection one day help restore the cushioning between our spinal bones? The science is promising, but this potential treatment is not yet a proven cure. Source: Cherif, H., Li, L., Snuggs, J., Li, X., Sammon, C., Li, J., Beckman, L., Haglund, L., & Le Maitre, C. L. 😳 WOW. SNL UK REALLY WENT THERE last night on the Royal Family and the Thomas Markle allegations. They said something you’d never expect to hear on a mainstream comedy show: “If the allegations about Meghan Markle’s father are true and he is a paedophile, there is a genuine chance Meghan could be considered Royal.” Brutal! 😂 Fair play to them. I thought SNL UK would be the usual bland, cautious, box-ticking, unfunny stuff, but it’s actually pretty good. Definitely didn’t expect to see that. 👏

Been here longer than he has, and have met a number of wonderful and fantastic people on here, who despite the mess Ketamine Ken has made of this place, still have accounts on here, so have stuck around.
If people dislike Elon Musk so much, why do they still use the platform he owns?

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer group of people…
Just been told about the fascinating appearance of breakfast show star Mike Graham at the wedding reception of Richard Tice and his bride Isabel Oakshott. Mike arrived late at The Shard at London Bridge and, according to fellow guests, was already over-refreshed. On Tice beginning his speech Mike fell into a slumber. Tice does have that effect but not normally at the beginning of the oration. Reform’s No.2 finished on a rousing note and this woke Mike up who then decided the guests should hear his glowing views on Tice and his bride. So, he grabs the microphone and begins to speak in what some felt was a version of Latin. Very hard to decipher. David Bull, Reform’s former chairman, thought Mike was lowering the tone of the event - how this was possible with a roomful of politicians, journalists and Rebekah Brooks is hard to divine- and tries to grab the microphone. Mike fights him off, so in the middle of the room a wrestling match is now going on with Farage telling colleagues ; “Mike’s out of control.” Difficult for Farage to be too censorious as on occasions he has been in the grip of the grape . Anyway, a now irritable Mike beats off Mr Bull for the microphone but the effect of his exertions means he’s lost his thread and he lays down the mike. On reverting to his chair Mike is accosted by another guest displeased by the Latin oration and another bout of physical unpleasantness breaks out. Then it’s time to leave and for Mike, a matter of hours later, to prepare himself for his enormously successful breakfast show on UK Live. How he does it all is quite beyond me.
