Unpopular opinion: being a book lover doesn't mean you have to read everyday. Some days you just don't feel like it. And that doesn't mean you stop liking books.
i wish people would stop entering others' lives solely for their own benefit, making them question their own worth, leaving wounds they never asked for, and walking away as though they had nothing to do with the damage they left behind.
i really love being single. i love having my own time, enjoying my little routines, and getting back to the things i love. i can read books again, watch movies again, pursue my own interests, and spend my money on things that make me happy. it feels so good to have myself back.
two exes are more than enough for me. i'll keep choosing myself until i'm emotionally and financially stable enough to love someone again. because my future wife deserves the best version of me and all the love i can give her.
