Doctor Strange didn't pick the 1 in 14,000,605 timeline because it was the only way to beat Thanos. he picked it because it was the only timeline that got rid of both Thanos AND Tony Stark at the same time. go back and watch how Strange talks to Tony on the ship. he realized early on that a guy smart enough to build Ultron and time travel in a weekend was eventually going to be a bigger threat to the multiverse than Thanos ever was.

My little son was busy mocking idol worshippers because he couldn't see the logic behind bowing to something you created. Then he gets sober when his mother hints to him that phones and TV, or any other thing loved more than God, can also be idols. Suddenly, he realises he's probably as guilty as the prophets of Baal. Once we introspect a little bit more, we are likely to criticise others less.

you don’t understand it. you didn’t need loan to attend a federal university before tinubu. the highest amount i paid as tuition fee in unilag was 15k. they increased the money to 200k+ then grant you loans to pay it off. - cab fee went from 50 naira to 200 naira - you can no longer eat with 500 naira - every fun stuff students used to enjoy now cost serious money don’t forget you will start paying back the loan when you should be enjoy your salary
I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this oh😭 Deep down every uni student wants to actually vote for TINUBU in 2027 I’m a beneficiary of Nelfund Student Loan & I must say, he actually cooked with that initiative

Netflix fans once voted this the best show the company has ever made, ahead of Stranger Things. It was written by a German couple who had never made a TV show before, and the final season came out on June 27, 2020, the exact day the world ends in the story. Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese had one real hit before this, a hacker thriller called Who Am I that did well in Germany. Netflix wanted to see if a German-language drama could work around the world, so it handed them its first German original. They came back with a time travel story about four families in a small town called Winden, and they had all three seasons mapped out before the cameras rolled. The story jumps in 33-year steps, which means you meet a lot of the same people as teenagers in one decade and as tired middle-aged parents in another. So almost every big role needed two or three actors who look like one person at different ages. Think about how hard that is to cast. If even one of those matches looked off, you'd be lost by episode two, and casting director Simone Bär had to pull it off dozens of times. The 33 actually comes from the moon. Thirty-three years on the calendar lines up within about five days of 408 full moons, so the sun and moon end up back in almost the same spot. You can see this in real life with Ramadan. It runs on the lunar calendar, slides about 11 days earlier every year, and lands back in the same season roughly every 33 years. People outside Germany ate it up. Netflix said more than 90% of the audience was international. In Japan, about 3 out of 4 viewers watched season two in the original German, and in South Korea it was over 90%. The family tree got so tangled that Netflix had an agency build an official website just to keep track of who's related to who. It even has a spoiler filter. You tell it what episode you're on and it only shows you what you've already seen. By the time the fan vote happened in 2020, Dark had beaten 63 other Netflix shows and blown out Black Mirror in the final round. When filming wrapped, Friese and Odar took a few things home from set. One of them was the yellow raincoat the kid is wearing in this clip. They'd known how his story ends since before he ever put it on.

The Good King will Come, and all our sorrows will be made right. Till then, our tears are not lost on him.
Right now, a genocide against Christians, perpetrated by Muslims, is happening in Nigeria. More than 3,000 members of Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo’s church have been killed. And he has already conducted over 200 mass burials for his congregation. This year alone, more Christians have been killed in Nigeria than Gazans in 3 years of war. But no one seems to care, and the media remains silent.

A Psalm of @kaestrings, as he sings to a God who handles our tears with delicate care, and not a single drop will fall to the ground. May your justice be swift and fierce on those who hold a sword over your beloved, and as you embrace them into your loving care, we ask that you offer peace to the hearts of their families. Lord, we ask that you lift the eyes and comfort the hearts of our brothers and sisters, who have to carry the bodies of their loved ones, and we ask that you offer them the rare peace and love that only you can. Nothing can indeed separate us from you Lord, our great peace. Because your innocent body was broken, beaten, battered for our sakes, and we watch you take ultimate death for us, when our bodies are broken, it doesn't have to drive us to the depths of hopelessness. You are our great hope. Precious in your sight is the death of your servants, and you who hold all things together, we are convinced this didn't skip your loving, eager, and watchful eye, oh good shepherd. We may not know what we have done to deserve this senseless killings, but you do, and we are humble enough to accept what you plan to do with this in us. Amen.

BREAKING: Nigeria: A Christian mother, Liatu Samuel Dawa, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the “crime” of evangelism. Liatu shared her faith with a woman in Borno State who later converted to Christianity. For that, Liatu is now behind bars and her family in hiding after Muslims threatened their lives. The judge, A.B. Kumdila, imposed the harsh sentence. This ruling is a gross miscarriage of justice. The disgraceful action must be overturned and Liatu immediately returned safely to her family. Free Liatu Dawa.

The tenets of the Christian faith are downright ridiculous, you will, in fact, be foolish to believe. To believe that God abandoned royalty and squeezed himself into the womb of a girl? That salvation comes from the death of this man we claim to be God? To believe that salvation comes from faith alone? And that God has loved us before the foundations of the world? To believe that we are walking temples of the Spirit of God? To believe that the entire journey of how we are made, saved, justified, sanctified, and kept till eternity is entirely in the workings of this God? So when you ask a Christian, How did you become one?, they are simply confused because none of it is in their keeping, how they came to love God or be chosen by him is entirely out of their control? I sat at the edge of my bed this morning considering the details of what I believe, and why they are rare and foolish. You see, this grand foolishness is exactly how God plans to save you. He loves a good joke. Paul begins to write to the church in Corinth about how the world views the gospel. What the world calls foolish or weak—specifically Jesus Christ dying on a cross—is actually God's supreme power and wisdom to save humanity. In 1 Corinthians 1:18, he adds: "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." He adds in v. 21; For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe." All the way down to v.27... "But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong." Don't you see, God intends this grand foolishness to be the mechanism for which you are saved. Do you trust him like that? Here's to the foolish ones🥂

Chelsea “fans” online really don’t give a damn about any player in reality. You are only as relavent as your last game, you’d never catch a single person who goes to games saying to sell Reece James because his importance and representation to Chelsea goes beyond playing matches. He is obviously going to play RCB in the three when he’s available which we know he’s very good at. If you claim to rate Xabi so highly, he’ll also make tactical adaptations to suit our best players, which include Reece. Just because he can’t bomb up and down the flank anymore, doesn’t render him useless. Look at what happened to Colwill on here, he’s not rated anymore either. Stop pretending you give a damn about any single player, you don’t, you only support when they’re in good form / moments. I’ll be backing Reece all the way as I and any other Chelsea fan should. He’s more than minutes on the pitch. He’s a journey, a story, and there’s no one else I’d want to see lift trophies for the club.

Naivety and gullibility is why you think "praying people back to life" has ever been a normative thing at any point in Christian history. Not in the days of the prophets, nor in the days of the Apostles was raising the dead back to life a normative thing. There aren't even up to 10 cases of the dead being prayed for and raised to life in the Bible (OT and NT combined). This childish stuff I see people say online about how if they die, their friends will pray them back to life or their friends won't "release" them is just a juvenile detachment from reality. When you die, you will more than likely remain dead. Can the miracle of the dead being raised to life still happen, of course yes, God hasn't changed, but like it has never been something anywhere close to being normative, it won't become normative today. Christians should rather learn to see death how the Bible sees it, the inevitable end from this vain world and a uniting with our Lord and Saviour. For to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Moments of loss like this makes me think about the Christianity we profess in this country So, you mean there’s no man of God who’s anointed to pray him back to life? Even if the Bible stories were long time ago, we read about Apostle Babalola, Obadare that were not so far na💔

" the credence it will give to our faith" Christianity is not powerless because a believer got called home. Whether you agree or not, its God that has power over life and death. The credence of Christianity rest in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
This our powerless Christianity is not it sha! Yes we can’t question God…bla bla bla But people said the same thing when people died in the Bible, we won’t know anything about resurrection. Imagine we prayed him back to life, the credence it will give to our faith!
