Media had some fun poking at @DukeMBB coach Jon Scheyer today. Backstory: as a Cubs fan, he was jokingly distracted a while back at one of his pressers by a White Sox hat. So today, most of us came with hats repping Cardinals, Mets, Red Sox, Orioles, etc. This was his reaction.😂

And with the No. 1, 5, 6 and 7 teams all having lost already, and with No. 2 or No. 8 certain to lose, today will mark the first instance in at least 25 years where five top-8 teams lose on the same day.

TV announcers didn’t seem to notice, but it sure looked like an off-target snap on Duke’s kick to tie led to the holder having some trouble and throwing things off
Duke loses 28-25 at Georgia Tech, first loss of the season.

Jarvis had said would love to be back by late October, though wasn't sure if that was too optimistic. But by the Finland trip in mid-November at the latest. So he's inching closer in that return process...
UNC promptly returns the opening kickoff to the 2nd half for a 98y TD... botched the PAT but it's now 21-20 when ND was on the verge of going up 28-7.
Notre Dame's march to the goal line blew up with a messy QB keeper call on 3rd down and a missed 4th-down throw. Compounding matters is the Irish let UNC's offense march 97 yards on 15 plays for a TD. Just like that, a game that should be 28-7 is 21-14 at half.

NC State follows by running eight straight times on a 9-play TD drive, the last being Duke Scott bouncing out to the left side for a 16y TD and a 38-31 lead with 5:08 left.
Pack is run-run-running tonight... CJ Bailey with a TD keeper on the 1st drive, then Duke Scott gets loose to the left for a 9-yard TD. Scott is already at 8-73, NC State leads App State 14-0 late 1st.
