Colorism is such an interesting concept because even they’re both light skinned we’ve been trained to see that Phylicia is still visibly darker than Debbie.
Debbie Allen and Phylicia Rashad tell Michelle Obama they were JEALOUS of each other’s beauty growing up, and connect it to the COLORISM and constant messages about SKIN TONE they heard as kids 😲👀
