New damselfish paper! In the bays of Moorea, we found that there was significantly greater coral diversity inside damselfish territories than outside. Now, more research is needed to figure out the cause and context of this pattern.

Today's #fieldworkfriday features 1st yr PhD student @ablanchette12! Allie travelled to Bonaire in May w/ the McCoy Lab (@MarEcology) for some site scoping on the coral reefs. She's busy sketching out a research plan and will be returning in Aug. for data collection. Stay tuned!
New #urbanecology pub! People want variety in their yard plants, but only those with higher income were able to achieve higher flower biodiversity and colorfulness. Also managed to get the phrase "landscape mullet" (@DextraordinaryH ) into the paper
