🚂🔥 Freight train derailment and fire! On October 26, 2026, at 1:30 a.m. local time, 20 freight cars derailed on the Reshety–Aramil section of the Sverdlovsk Railway, near Yekaterinburg. Seven tank cars caught fire. The incident reportedly also caused cars from a second freight train on the adjacent track to derail. Traditionally no casualties were reported. Freight traffic was suspended while emergency crews and recovery trains were dispatched. No scheduled passenger services operate on this section. Two days. That’s how long the energy ceasefire lasted before Russia struck Ukraine’s power grid again, leaving 600,000 people without power, according to former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Sunak says Putin wants to freeze Ukrainians this winter and break their will. He sets out three steps for the West:
