Do they think Peaky Blinders is a French show?

Narrow scoreline or not, the Timbers were (statistically) dominant against a decent team from the east tonight. A little glimpse at what could be under Marti Cifuentes.

Inter Miami are getting absolutely rinsed by Red Bull New York, it’s a miracle they are only one goal behind.

My timeline in recent weeks has been endless imagery of swathes of empty seats across so many different sports. I think we’re at a major tipping point after years of greed and predatory ticket policies from teams/leagues. Though I don’t expect anything will change soon.
lol CFB. Number one team in the country and look at all the EMPTY SEATS It’s DYING.

It’s quite astonishing how this very particular subset of people who seem to be involved in the sport in some capacity are almost always utterly clueless about a very basic principle upheld in every single stadium
Game hasn’t started yet and Lionel Messi / Inter Miami CF fans already arguing with Sports Illustrated Stadium staff about being denied entry into the South Ward (Red Bull New York supporters group sections). #RBNY #InterMiamiCF

Crew playing quite well, should be fine to get into the playoffs from here, but why can’t they seem to get people in the building this year? Ticket prices or something else?

It may be time for a change in this country

Hard to read into deals like this from the Union as anything other than retaining his valuable as a salable asset, but nonetheless if keeps one of the country’s best young talents here longer then it’s a great move.
The next chapter 📖 Philadelphia Union has signed Homegrown defender Neil Pierre to a new contract through the 2030-31 season, with an option for the 2031-32 season. 📝: philaunion.co/npnc

In case you missed it during the U.S. Open Cup haze, CF Montreal fans did not take losing the Canadian Championship final at home lightly. A fanbase whose club has been left to rot in recent years, and those fans seemingly have had enough ⤵️

Based on what I’ve seen on this app the last few years, I expect packed stadiums and USL to overtake MLS as the “biggest” league in the country in no time. Everything has been solved now 🤝
PROMOTION/RELEGATION SET TO ARRIVE IN AMERICAN SOCCER IN 2028 🇺🇸📈 USL has unveiled new branding as it prepares to introduce promotion and relegation across three men’s professional divisions: ▫️ USL Premier — Division One ▫️ USL Championship — Division Two ▫️ USL League One — Division Three Clubs would earn promotion, or face relegation, based on their results on the field. The new look launches in January 2027, with USL Premier and the promotion/relegation system planned for 2028.

This is an amazing showing from the traveling St. Louis fans. This cup final should have a cup final feel, and this competition deserves that

The sameness of new MLS stadiums has become a talking point among fans, so I took a look into why they look and feel the same as others around the league. Money, architecture firms, acoustics, and more! My latest column ⤵️

City don’t have an army of football tourists to occupy every empty seat when locals don’t go like the other big PL clubs. UCL group stage prices have nearly doubled in the last few years, wages have not. No football fans should be attacking other fans for taking a night off.
No one turned up for Manchester City 😭😭😭

As a matter of fact, you just out yourself as somebody who doesn’t know a thing about the sport or what comes with supporting a club in person on a weekly basis when posting things like that.

Julian’s point (which I agree with) makes me think — do any MLS clubs have any stadium stands named after famous club figures? Would be great to see more of that. I’m worried most clubs wouldn’t pass up the sponsorship opportunity though.
I don’t have a horse in this race, but it would be cool if the Revolution stadium, if/when it gets built, has a Head Coach Steve Nicol Stand. #NERevs #MLS

It's nice looking & it's great they won't be in MLB stadiums anymore, but it's hardly unique in any way is it? Change the seat color & it's any of five other MLS stadiums. Is there something about modern stadium architecture I am uneducated about?
This is your new @newyorkcityfc 🏠 You’ve got to be kidding me. Pure 🔥
