𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. Every brand we built at Encrea carried a little piece of our culture, our essence. Over the years, we began incorporating Thaana into our designs, and in 2023, that passion sparked the idea of creating a type foundry. But we soon realised that many talented type designers had beautiful fonts waiting to be discovered, without the time or resources to bring them to market. So, we pivoted from building our own foundry to creating a community-led marketplace. 𝗔𝗸𝘂𝗿𝘂𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻. Since launching in 2024, we've faced piracy & continue to face it, championed font licensing, and helped raise awareness that Thaana fonts are creative works deserving recognition and protection.
