Entras a cripto por el dinero, te quedas por la tecnología y después le dedicas tu vida por los valores de la web 3.

After three years, we made the call to wind down @BandoCool. We launched three products and had users in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Nigeria, the Philippines and beyond. We spent every day on a problem I still believe is one of the most important in emerging markets: how people and businesses save, pay and move money. Stablecoins are already changing that, and I’m more bullish than ever about this industry. I’m leaving this chapter extremely proud, with more lessons and experiences than I can count. The clearest lesson: fear is the mind killer. As a founder, you must pick one thing to be stubborn and brave about, and let everything else change. I want to thank everyone who supported us on this journey. Our users, the community we built, our team, my co-founders, our investors, and anyone who was part of our story, even in a small way. These have been the most transformative three years of my life, and I come out of them energized. Someone is going to build the stablecoin bank emerging markets need, and I can’t wait to see it. Excited for what’s next, see you in the arena 🏟️ 🫡

Five years ago, we started with a single commitment: publish at least 1,000 episodes. It sounds simple, but that long-term goal inspired discipline. It forced us to show up and execute, week after week, when there was no audience and no guarantee it would work. Today we've gone beyond just crypto. Enter @EspacioMedia, the largest crypto and AI media company for the Spanish speaking world. On to the arena 🏟️...

In this time where building is so easy, you’re either all in or checked out.

Cool people ara coming for Stripe commons in CDMX. I'm hosting a friends dinner on Monday; no crypto talk, just nice food and good convos. Hit me up if you're interested.

In the upcoming months we’ll start seeing AI Exit Bonuses. When an employee resigns, they receive ~2 to 6 months of salary if they automate 80–90% of what they used to do before leaving. This feels like something obvious that will start happening soon.

This is how I feel lately with Claudio

Always, unknown friends will come and seek you.

There are many many ways of getting strong. Sometimes talking with someone you respect is the best way.

Keep. Winning.

This AI wave feels exactly like joining crypto did: 1. You feel like you're already late 2. Enormous rabbit hole, endless angles to attack your curiosity 3. Massive opportunity, with the unspoken agreement that we'll all learn by screwing up 4. Nobody really knows what's happening, and somehow that's the fun part

Getting in a little late, but @claudeai is actually funny

Esto es por ti, para ti y gracias a ti. Vamos por otra final de champions. Abrazo de gol, y on to the arena.

There are times where I want to check out. Then life shows me the value of staying. Those are the moments that fuel the next wave, on to the arena.

Working on this essay for tomorrow:

In a previous part of my life I published an article talking about sustainability in emerging markets. Crazy how life works.

You can’t go all in on two hands at the same table.

Things I don’t talk about unless prompted: yoga, spirituality, and crypto.
