Bravo Alex . We have no country. We have a gov which allows out borders to be broken by boats of illegal males every other day We are told Britain is bad - our history bad White man bad Masculinity is bad Our Gov use lawfare against veterans They are taking funding from our military Using DEI policies to doscrijiate against white men being recruited They are pushing through dogmatically the give away of Chagos which weakens us militarily They are pushing ahead giving China - our main adversary in many ways- a major hub in our capital In some cities it’s illegal to fly the British and English flag! Our statues have been defaced Our Christian culture and heritage ignored and often excused and replaced All our money going to migrants and projects abroad Pushing nonsense like netzero which nobody wants Obliterating our economy and manufacturing industry and trashing the jobs markets Whilst making our food and energy costs almost unaffordable Our Gove and the EU constantly push war against Russia whilst Russia talk peace And Russia have done nothing to the UK whilst China and Iran have done plenty And the Gov want to ask people to give their lives? For WHAT! The UK in 1914 or 1939 was cohesive - was 99.9% white British who followed the same culture- who were taught rubber patriotic and proud and men were taught to be leaders and protectors and masculine . And the UK was a world leader in many ways . The UK now is not the UK of then .

I always remember Sir Alex Ferguson saying how Ravel Morrison was the most naturally talented player he ever worked with at Man Utd… Yet his career was an abject failure because of his bad attitude and laziness. Kane is in no way the most naturally talented striker England has ever produced. But he is our greatest thanks almost entirely to his impeccable work ethic and mental fortitude. What a role model.

🚨Kylian Mbappé on Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or ahead of him and Lamine Yamal: 🗣️ Kylian Mbappé: “To be honest, I sat there throughout the ceremony and listened to everything. I barely moved from my seat because, at some point, I genuinely wanted to see whether they were going to invite us onto the stage or simply hand every award to the Spanish players! “Every time they announced a winner, it felt like another Spanish player was going to collect a trophy. And I’m sitting there thinking, ‘Okay, let’s see how this ends.’ “At one point, Michael Olise turned to me and said, ‘Kylian, when did the Ballon d’Or become a country achievement?’ “I laughed and told him, ‘Just sit down and watch. We haven’t seen the final award yet.’ “Then Lamine won the Young Player of the Year award. Congratulations to him, because he is an incredible talent. But we were still waiting for the biggest prize of the night. “Finally, they announced the men’s Ballon d’Or winner, and it was Harry Kane. “Honestly, if I had to choose between Harry Kane and Lamine Yamal winning it ahead of me, I would rather see Harry win it. “Not because I have anything against Lamine. He is a fantastic player, and I respect what he has achieved. But Harry represents something I deeply respect about football. He has worked for years, carried enormous expectations and continued to deliver at the highest level. “Seeing him lift that trophy made me happy. I was proud of him, genuinely. But let me be clear: I didn’t travel to that ceremony to support Harry Kane. I went there because I wanted to win the Ballon d’Or myself. “And I think people sometimes forget that. You can respect another player, congratulate him and appreciate his achievement while still being disappointed that you didn’t win. “I sat there watching him celebrate, and part of me was happy for him. Another part of me was asking what I needed to do differently to make sure I would be the one standing on that stage next time. “People might look at my reaction and say, ‘Mbappé should be grateful to be nominated.’ Of course I’m grateful. But I didn’t reach this level by being satisfied with nominations. “I want to win. I want to be the best. And when I lose, I don’t suddenly pretend that winning was never important to me. “I would rather lose the Ballon d’Or to a player I respect than win the sympathy of people who tell me I deserved it after the ceremony.” “Harry had his night, and I respect that. But my story isn’t finished. If working harder, scoring more goals, improving my game and taking greater responsibility are what it takes, then that is exactly what I will do. “I won’t ask anyone to feel sorry for me. I won’t complain about the result. I will go back to work. “Because the next time I walk into that ceremony, I don’t want to sit there wondering whose name they are going to announce. “I want to hear my own name and I want nobody to have an argument about whether I deserve it.”

The detailed quote attributed to Kylian Mbappé here is fabricated; he made no such statements. Harry Kane won the 2026 Ballon d'Or ahead of Mbappé (2nd) and Lamine Yamal (3rd), with reports noting only Mbappé's visible disappointment at the event. bbc.com/sport/football… infobae.com/deportes/2026/… uefa.com/uefachampionsl…

WTF has being gay got to do with being a 'coward' according to you @PeterBleksley absolutely DISGUSTING comment to make.
If you need further indication of what an insufferable prat Bleksley is why did he feel the need to bring into the debate the fact that Alex is gay?

Replying to @PeterBleksley
@PeterBleksley, the way you spoke to @Alexarmstrong was disgusting. I was genuinely taken aback. If the question was whether he would fight here, on British soil, to protect this country’s women and children from men who mean them harm, I suspect the answer would be yes. But calling a 35-year-old man a “coward” because he doesn’t want to be sent abroad to kill other young men at the behest of a government that has spent much of his life treating him like shit? How dare you? Young white men and boys are repeatedly told they’re privileged, toxic and the source of every problem in the world since the 1700s. Veterans and their families are left fighting for support. Then, when the government wants soldiers, these same young men are expected to fall into line and go off and die for the goverments banker mates. At 35, the majority of thier lives theyve been told they’re everything wrong with Britain - they're not even allowed to call themselves "British" or wave their own flag without being abused and insulted - now they're called "cowards" for questioning whether they owe its politicians their lives. Utterly disgusting. You owe Alex an apology.
A heated GB News debate between Peter Bleksley and @Alexarmstrong asked whether young people should go to war for Britain when the government has done nothing for them. I stand with Alex on this one. Why should anyone be expected to fight for a country that has failed them?.

My uncle was just 19 years old when he was shot down over the Netherlands during the war. Buried there in a land far away from his Scottish home. Nineteen. His whole life ahead of him. A future he would never get to live. My poor grandmother lost her son, and his fiancée lost the man she had hoped to spend her life with… So, when I wear my poppy, I think of him and the countless young men and women who gave their tomorrows so that we could have ours. Wearing a poppy is not a political statement. It is an act of remembrance, respect and gratitude. We owe them more than a passing thought. Wear your poppy with pride. Lest we forget. ❤️ Read Bernie’s poem below. It’s a beautiful reminder of the why…
I don’t want to post the video. You’ve all seen it. But I do want to write a love letter… Dear everyone in Britain, ( even you illegals) Just so you understand. The poppy is for the boys who never got to grow old. For the boys who were still somebody’s baby, brother, uncle or father. More than 600,000 of them. It doesn’t matter if you support war, hate your country, think you are a woman (even though you are a man). It doesn’t matter which God you pray to, or if you pray to none at all. It doesn’t matter who you vote for, what climate narrative you believe, or whether you believe Israel should exist or not! The poppy isn’t for you! It’s for those who came before. Those who fought for your right to be weird, annoying or even foreign. The poppy is how we say thank you. Thank you for giving us time, peace and choice. And attempting to ban our poppy by declaring it politically divisive isn’t a move towards freedom. It is an act of suppression. Understand that. The poppy is about love and loss. For you! So stick your rainbow flags and every other flag where the sun doesn’t shine and just wear your poppy. Those boys did not die as symbols. They died for you! Did you know that poppies grew across the battlefields where so many fell? As though even the land refused to forget the blood once given to defend it. So the poppy is for them. For those who came before us and paid in youth, in hope, in breath, in blood, so that we might have the freedom to be arseholes. So that we might even have the freedom to fight over the ridiculous, the inconsequential and the insane. Revere it, celebrate it and wear it. The very least you can do is that. Best The ordinary people.
