Tony Gwynn getting a hit off Randy Johnson, followed by Joe Morgan's reaction on the broadcast. One of the greatest contact hitters ever against one of the most overpowering pitchers ever is already a perfect matchup.
Gwynn's entire game was built around putting the barrel on pitches other hitters couldn't handle. Johnson's entire game was built around making that almost impossible.
