GOP Sen. Mitch McConnell is threatening to block Trump’s legislative agenda unless he stops bending the knee to Putin.
“Passing this agenda will require working with Republicans who know the difference between the good guys and the bad guys. Ending the obeisance to Mr. Putin may be table stakes for the end-of-year legislation. The president should plan accordingly,” McConnell wrote in The Wall Street Journal.”

Ukrainian scientists at Vernadsky Station recorded the highest October temperature in the station’s history, smashing the previous record of +7.9°C set in 1968.
Even more striking: the temperature jumped by nearly 10°C in just 2.5 hours!
💨 The likely cause was an exceptionally strong foehn wind — warm, dry air descending from the mountains. It may have been intensified by an atmospheric river carrying warm, moisture-rich air towards Antarctica.
