I'm watching a legacy news clip where they are discussing rent control by the new LA mayor, as if rent control is a thing.
Anyone who says "rent control" in a serious manner is really saying "I'm a stupid idiot".
I'm watching video of Talarico telling people "undocumented people in Texas love this country just as much as people who have been here for decades" (paraphrase).
You know what? That might be the case. But you do not love this country if:
1. You are on benefits permanently.
2. You are sending money out of the country to support people who should be earning that money themselves.
3. You are a net negative taxpayer for a long period of time.
I'm sure there is a better way to say this, I'm just posting while still pissed off at this stupid gremlin.
One thing I expect to see more of the same of is lefties in corporations and government doing videos of themselves and their coffee saying stuff that makes no sense has no bearing on reality.
The people that actually know what is going on will be pressured to do more as the incompetent ones do next to nothing.

But they’ve run candidates, raised lots of money and have had large electoral wins since. And after fomenting an assassination culture, they’re openly plotting revenge and lawfare against their opposition.

I voted straight ticket Republican.
I voted for secure borders, lower taxes, safer communities, and greater economic prosperity.
I voted against looser borders, higher taxes, suicidal empathy, and more socialism.
I know the Republican Party isn't perfect. We can work to improve it in the primaries.
But general elections decide who holds power. And keeping that power out of Democratic hands is the priority.

They want communism. Communism is the default failure mode of governments all throughout history. Fight it.
Citizens can save the country. Politicians give no shits.
