A beautiful time with a beautiful group ❤️
Last Saturday we welcomed activists from our Black Leadership Programme for the session 'Self Care as an act of Defiance' facilitated by @EzChigbo from @actbuildchange.
The group included activists from various African countries who enriched the conversation by sharing diverse perspectives and experiences.
During the session, they explored the importance of aligning activism with their personal circumstances and the need of establishing physical and emotional boundaries to sustain long-term engagement in advocacy work.

Most migrants rely on legal advice to navigate the hostile-by-design immigration system—yet cuts to legal aid have made it feel impossible for many to access advice.

Fantastic to see this programme now live in London. Frontline staff & volunteers in the migration sector work directly with those requiring advice & support in an increasingly complex & challenging environment. It's essential that we also provide staff with the support they need
