This morning, I gave the U.K. Gov and the DWP both barrels in my speech to the U.N. Disability Rights Committee. U.K. is a systematic and grave disability rights abuser. When the #CRPD29 issues its report in March the evidence we submitted today will be founded upon. Solidarity

I've had some worried messages about The Budget #Disability Benefits announcement. Pls note this was a White Paper, ie proposal not draft law so early stage. Much can change & it can't start til 2026, so for now don't fret. Here's @MindCharity assessment mind.org.uk/news-campaigns/n…

@PostOffice any reason why you are not accepting the new barcoded stamps? We are experiencing problems with our clients not getting letters we send. (1)

One client was told stamp was a counterfeit (but local post office couldn't see anything wrong with the rest of the batch) (2)

Now another client has been told not enough postage but with only 3 sheets that can't be right. This is very worrying for us as a small charity trying to help disabled people who can't afford these extra charges. Please look into this (3)

IMPORTANT! If you are still on DLA mobility component and were born before 8th April 1948, please think very carefully before telling DWP that your care needs have increased because they will reassess your mobility needs under the much harsher PIP criteria. DM for more details.
