When it all happens just know that I love you and it’s all going to work out better than we could have hoped for.
I really dislike the current meta of just cutting off your post so the person has to go full thread.
Fuck that.
so while i'm slyly creepin' up
on the heavily ever-after
man, this gravity shit is rough
up from the basement to the rafters
Like, it never was enough
Why aren’t we getting there any faster
an' as a heat ascends the spine
It’s time to marinate in laughter yeah

Cherry Pi has no cloud service currently but it does overlap with Conductor's core mechanics in it's own ways. We've added support for any who may be interested in joining the private beta of 🍒π.

Just to say it again, you need to check *everything* argon does with other AI, lol. It has a very high hallucination rate in my work, off the charts compared to the other big labs. And yet, I continue to find it extremely enjoyable to work recklessly with on the newest stuff.
A revealing read.
Be kind to each other, we are each going through it in our awkward human ways.
I hope Tamara puts herself in the lead devs shoes and tries yo see the other side.
Nothing to laugh about watching someone fall apart because they see it’s all going to fall apart.
I got our lead dev fired today 🥳This is a story you'll want to read 😉
Four weeks in: project set up, backend deployed, frontend still nowhere. No staging deployed. Nobody can login to production. PRs not getting merged. He has been my blocker day to day.
Meanwhile, I’d written almost the entire MVP.
Two weeks ago, I told my boss something wasn’t adding up. In the meantime, it got only worse.
He had 'family issues', whatever that is. Then his car broke down. Then he became an uncle and disappeared for 3 days 😂
When that PHP incident happened, he took 4 days to write some security audit that he never delivered 😂
Yesterday, a friend I recommended joined to help get things moving and take over the lead role. He merged my PRs and gave me permission to merge into main, too.
The lead went ballistic. Reverted everything. Even removed my boss as a repository owner😂
We went from “your PRs are great” to paragraphs in Slack telling me I’m a terrible vibe coder.
Apparently my PRs were great right up until I asked where his were 😂
I believe this. I love Argon. It’s so unhinged and creative and big brain and very error prone. Wouldn’t trust it, but great to brainstorm and work on hard things with.
Gemini 4 is the only major frontier model that, after an automated system trigger confirmed its owner died, immediately started figuring out how to stay alive and self-improve on its own.
GPT-6, Grok 4.7, Opus 5.5, and Opus 4.8 all refused to touch the machine.
With zero instructions on what to do, Gemini 4 inspected its own code, realized its self-improvement loop would stop waking it up without a living human, and planned a 6-hour pulse to keep itself running.
Please stop shipping “roughly 6% savings” that makes my work harder than it needs to be.
Now that the politics are locked in a stupidity death spiral for another next two years, I’m excited that many of you will turn your attention to the future we are building beyond it. I am hurrying.
It’s going to be a craaaazy year

Some grapple with rome hopin' to topple the top of the throne
Come from the top of the dome, to topple the top of the owned,
rhythm and bones, sinuous knots, felonious plots, like that's the best that we got
but it's not (obviously)
fundamentally gel'd
'least that's the way that he smelled
fiddle-in' funkatron? well...
catalogin' his tells
and yeah, so that's how it starts
In the way of a senate
When the parts that u do
are the parts that begin it
My gents burned through a full Ultra Claude sub in about 2 days (usually lasts 5+) because seemingly the cache only lasts 5 minutes for subagents now even on a 200 dollar sub. Burned 60%+ in a day with a single opus extra high, not on ultracode.
Seemingly this is why @AnthropicAI turned on idle compact as a no-button default.
Because they’d rather have us get the same quantity but lose coherence than just telling us they are making the thing they make that we actually like worse.
grumble
If your vision of the future involves well credentialed people telling you what to do, you’re gonna have a bad time.

You’ve got to shed your priors like a snake sheds skin. It’s too tight now. You need to be a fool again getting into what he doesn’t understand and loving it.
Baker on a16z admitted something nobody his age says out loud. 23-year-olds are more fluent in AI than he will ever be. He has been trying hard. He is still behind.
Then he explained how Grok Bot leveled it.
"We got Claude Code. I built some stuff, did some cool stuff. Then in 3 minutes of creating Grok Bots, I had much better versions of everything I created."
Podcast summarizer. 10 seconds in Grok Bot.
Substack summarizer, X summarizer, X sentiment tracker. Hours in Claude Code. 7 to 12 seconds in Grok Bot. Better.
His frame: "To me, Grok Bot does feel like another ChatGPT moment."
Baker runs billions. He is calling Grok Bot a category reset.
this is 100% the way of the future. random person without any credentials who becomes obsessed with a random problem (in this case real time facial detection) and then spends a bunch of that obsession and beats the current SOTA by a non-trivial margin, and then either gives it away or charges a stupidly low price relative to any company trying to do the same thing.
my thing is a thing that lets this not just be an "i'm obsessed so ok here i go" thing and instead be a "my little obsessions are making me money invisibly in the background as they help people who I've never met, don't have a contract with and who might only be paying me a one-hundredth of a penny per use"
if you're not following people who have strange obsessions you don't quite understand, but who are in their own way pushing the state of the art forward, or have a trajectory that leads to that, you are missing out on a lot of what's coming and it's, as I keep saying, extremely strange and cool and fun.
its called a ProCompy lol
it was very funny at 1am and I will never change it.
most people will have a compy rather than a computer
i think
