After reading some of the takes on this Tolu matter, I’ve come to accept that I am a village girl through and through, and proudly so.
A lot of people have lost touch with their roots, culture and identity, and that’s honestly a sad reality.
Whatever she decides to do with the property is not anyone’s business. Whatever her husband owns or owned is automatically hers and her kids.
Toluwanising’s wife, come outside! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Why are you allegedly opposing the burial of your husband in the house he reportedly built with his own money?
Is there a reason you don’t want his remains buried there? Are you planning to sell the property, or is there something else the public doesn’t know?
People have questions, and your silence is only fueling speculation.
Come out and explain your position. The public deserves clarity, not rumours and unanswered questions. 💔
In my culture, we bury our loved ones in our family homes, perhaps because of our village homes. Whether or not you live there with your husband is completely irrelevant.
Anyway, it’s becoming increasingly clear that a lot of people have lost touch with their culture and identity🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️

I’ll be a good husband too. 🙏🏽
Yesterday, my husband went to help his friend move from Peterborough to Toronto. He got home quite late, and by then, I had already slept off.
Anyway, this morning, I woke up and started getting ready for the gym as usual.
Tell me why I got to where I normally keep my gym shoes and found a brand new pair sitting there, with a little note that said, wear this 😊🥹❤️
I just stood there smiling.
Because two days ago, I had casually complained to this man that my heel had been hurting after my long walks on the treadmill and that I needed to get myself a better pair of shoes.
That was it. Just a conversation. I wasn’t asking him to buy me anything.
But apparently, somebody was listening. 🥹
And the part that really touched me was that after spending his day helping his friend move and getting home so late, he still remembered something I had mentioned in passing.
No announcement, no long speech, no baby, come and see what I bought for you.
Just a new pair of shoes waiting for me, with a simple instruction to wear them. 😭❤️
Well, I wore them to the gym this morning, and all I can say is, thank you, my darling husband. 🥹❤️
So I am showing you people my new shoes 😁

This is what love looks like. Paying attention to the little things and acting without being asked. May your husband continue to love and cherish you. It's the little gestures that make marriage beautiful.

It’s always a good thing to check once family history.. Early detection could make all the difference
I once had a friend who lost her mum to ovarian cancer. After the mourning period, I took her out one day, and somewhere in our conversation, I gently brought up the possibility of genetic counselling and testing because of her family history.
Omo, the insults I received that day eeh😂😭
She accused me of wishing her cancer and death. Said I was such a negative person, and eventually stopped speaking to me.
I felt terrible, but I knew my concern came from a place of love.
About a year later, she finally decided to get tested. Unfortunately, she discovered that she carried an inherited gene mutation associated with an increased risk of ovarian cancer.
After several consultations with her doctors, she made the difficult decision to freeze her eggs and undergo surgery to remove her reproductive organs to reduce her cancer risk.
The day I saw her name flashing on my phone again, I was genuinely surprised. This was someone who had completely ghosted me and labelled me a negative person simply because I encouraged her to take her family history seriously.
But I picked up.
Because sometimes, loving someone means having conversations they may not be ready to hear.
Please, if cancer runs in your family, don’t ignore your family history. Speak to your doctor about whether genetic counselling and testing would be appropriate.
Knowing your risk doesn’t mean you’re destined to develop cancer. Sometimes, it means you have an opportunity to do something about that risk before cancer ever develops.
If you’re a woman and you’ve lost your mother, or sibling to breast or ovarian cancer, please, I beg you, speak to your doctor about genetic counselling and testing.
Don’t wait until something is wrong before asking questions about your family history.
Some cancers are linked to inherited genetic mutations, and knowing your risk early could help you take steps to prevent certain cancers or detect them much earlier.
Please, while you’re healthy, ask those questions. Your family history matters.
Prevention is possible in some cases, and early detection can save lives. ❤️

Your job is simply to chip in whenever there's a task to be done, then sit back, cross your legs, and relax because you know it's as good as done.

If women knew the power they wield and how to smartly apply it...they'd understand that stopping to conquer has variations and somehow our men do what we want...

You go just ghost us here until your dear husband display small drama then you will come and gist us
All this things will not influence to get married joor 😂
Listening to my husband explain how everything in our house works is one of the funniest parts of being married. 🤣
This man will be explaining something about the electrical panel, or some other thing I didn't even know existed. And there I am, standing beside him, nodding my head like I am actually taking in the information 😂
Meanwhile, absolutely NOTHING is entering my brain.
But I dare not walk away, because the next thing I will hear is, you never listen when I'm explaining things to you 🙄🤣
So I just stand there, looking serious, throwing in the occasional ohhh, okay and that makes sense, even though nothing is making sense😂
Sir, with all due respect, as long as you are alive, healthy, and breathing, I have absolutely no plans of needing this information🤣
You are the owner of this department. I am just a resident in the building. Please, let everybody face their area of specialization🤣❤️
Growing up, there were two things I couldn't stand, being told to go and sleep in the afternoon and getting a good spanking whenever I misbehaved 😭
Fast forward to adulthood, and somehow, both have found their way onto my list of favourite activities. 🤣🤣
These days, nobody even needs to beg me to take a nap. Just give me a comfortable bed, a quiet room, and absolutely no responsibilities. I'm gone! 😭
As for the other one… well, let's just say marriage has a funny way of changing your perspective on certain childhood experiences. 🌚🤣
Because how did something I used to run away from become something I now occasionally look forward to 😌😜😏
Adulthood is really something else. Some things are better appreciated with age, and I will not be taking any further questions at this time🏃🏽♀️
One thing about my husband, he likes to act like he has the final say in this marriage🤣
I will tell him something I want to do or something I need, and this man will confidently tell me, No.
No problem, sir. I have heard you 😊
But why is it that a few days later, the same thing you said no to has somehow been done? 🤣🤣
And the funniest part is that he will now be explaining why he decided to do it, as if it wasn't my idea in the first place 🙂
Me? I don't argue. I just smile and allow him to enjoy his position as the head of the house 🙂
Because I've come to understand that sometimes, when my husband says no, what he really means is, give me some time to figure out how to make it happen🥹❤️
And that's why I love this man. He may not agree with everything I say immediately, but he always tries to make me happy.
Anyway, may God continue to bless the chairman of this household. The CEO has plenty of requests pending approval 🙂
