One of my happiest days as an IBMer, to see Jerry deservedly recognized as an IBM Fellow. I’m so proud to be in your team.
Extremely humbled to join the 2022 class of #ibm fellows. I’m so excited for this honor and congrats to my fellow honorees! ibm.com/ibm/ideasfromibm/us/…

Look. I just hope everyone’s error rates don’t go up too much in 2022, ok?
Well, ok, that didn’t quite work so this year I’ma wish all y’all slightly lower error rates in 2021

I have a referee report way overdue. Absolutely must submit it before the break, so I spent the better part of my morning sorting my bookshelves by color

I once won a pretentious statement contest with the following: "I have marginalia in my copy of Finnegans Wake"

I, as many, also came to the US on a H1-B visa to work on quantum computing, and gave everything I had to move the science forward. The current world leadership of the US in quantum technologies has relied in no small part on these visas for many years.

It is disheartenig to see this happening without a reasonable alternative to keep and attract so many talented people.
