Relapsing alcoholics and addicts: PLEASE consider the following perspective. A relapse does NOT erase the sobriety that you heroically practiced on a daily basis… It does NOT erase the steps practiced, the meetings attended nor the fellows you assisted through your good hearts… It simply means and said respectfully, You relapsed and lets get right back on the horse. Much Love ❤️ #RecoveryPosse #soberlife #relapse

The disease of alcoholism is progressive. Once your are granted the gift of sobriety, you can “see,” the alcoholism grow on people. The only thing that I have ever seen work for real alcoholics, is AA. Pure and simple as that’s been my experience. #RecoveryPosse #Alcoholism

I firmly believe that a majority of @X accounts would sell there soul for clicks, views and monetary gain. Endless accounts “creating,” content through AI bullshit. Incredible amounts of doom and gloom about the last days of civilization coming soon. Applauding AI and a handful of companies that are carrying the entire stock market. Many of these same companies will ki*l American jobs that used to support a family. And worst than all of it, BOTH sides of the political aisle being paid to post things that they know are not true. Any accounts that knowingly and deliberately mislead their followers without using any concrete evidence supporting their claims, should go to hell. As a society we have the “perfect,” storm brewing. Mental and emotional illness off the charts. Social media “news,” dominating the free market. Nefarious individuals and accounts peddling nonsensical conspiracy theories under the guise of free speech. This entire Country should fight back. Tell @elonmusk and the rest of these POS to take their robots, AI and trips to Mars and shove it. Fight for the common hard working American, not the BS account deliberately misleading. Our society is in trouble. We need to push AI away from our human souls. Before it’s too late.

Intense, loving, human relationships are complicated… The older I get, the more I come to realize that when resentments and expectations exist… It can create a spiritual prison if you let it. It takes two people to create a spiritual prison. The jailer AND the prisoner. #RecoveryPosse #spirituality #jail

🚨 BREAKING: Nick Shirley, at 24, just stood next to the President of the United States and called out the media to its face. He exposed the Minnesota fraud with a camera, and the press didn't go after the fraudsters. His words: "When I expose fraud, instead the mainstream media investigating the fraud, they investigated me." He says people actually wanted to kill him for it. Trump said what we're all thinking: "They went after you instead of the fraudster. I'm not surprised." Shirley says the fraudsters bought Mercedes and sent our money overseas. Now regular Americans get paid to stop them. One kid did the media's job. Now they're the story.

FEAR is the number one offender for alcoholics and addict. Anger, frustration, resentments, are all manifestations of FEAR. FEAR runs our lives. The intensity of this feeling within us, may bring us many, many wonderful things to our lives. But far more often, it destroys us. The only way I know how to overcome FEAR, is through FAITH❤️ #RecoveryPosse #faith

First, the emotional relapse occurs. Second, the ACTUAL RELAPSE occurs. It is NEVER the other way around. #RecoveryPosse

Friday Night happy hours are the backbone of alcoholics. If you are struggling with alcohol, and are fighting yourself to forego that Friday happy hour, do this instead. 1. Acknowledge the feeling. 2. Phone a friend. 3. Change your routine and commute. 4. Take a walk. 5. Put your phone away. At times, we struggle with the urge to drink minute by minute. Get through the moment of craving that feeling, and it will pass. Stay active and out of your head. Also, remember to give your phone a break. Hang in there and you are NOT ALONE. #RecoveryPosse #fridayhappyhour

Forget about Democrats. Forget about Republicans. For once in your life, think strictly as an INDEPENDENT. Is there an honest person alive that would disagree with this assessment? #Politics

If you love someone that is a teenager and is an alcoholic addict, it is a pain that is indescribable. Literally. If this is you, read one of the personal stories in the Big Book, titled a “Window Of Opportunity.” A beautiful story of a 19 year olds journey into A.A. I highly recommend reading it ❤️ #RecoveryPosse #thebigbook #aa #opportunity

I never knew this about him, such an awesome perspective on the beauty of simplifying one’s life.
There was a time when Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour was earning so much money that he described the amount as “obscene.” He recalled how he would spend his mornings writing checks to charities, simply trying to find a meaningful way to use his enormous wealth. But one day, he decided to go even further. After selling his London home for £4.5 million, Gilmour donated the entire proceeds to Crisis, a charity helping homeless people. “I don’t need that money, and I just thought it would be the right thing to do,” he modestly explained. Reflecting on life with his characteristic wisdom, Gilmour spoke about the simplicity he had come to value: “You start collecting Ferraris, then you have to buy buildings to put them in, and then you have to employ people to look after the people who look after all your possessions. Life becomes very complicated. And at some point — at least, that’s what happened to me — you find yourself thinking, ‘I don’t need any of this.’ And suddenly, life becomes simpler.”

I’ll always love history, old charm, architecture, nature and photography. I love how it all blends together in a photo like this.

Read The Big Book pages 60-70 and learn the destructive nature of SELF, and how it locks us into addiction. #RecoveryPosse

🚨 OBAMA ON AI: "If we are thinking about AI just in terms of how do we cure cancer or get better energy, you can do that without having agentic AI and having it just roaming free in the internet. The reason you are doing that is because you have to market a product that people will pay money for. That’s a misalignment between what our society needs and the commercial imperatives that these companies are facing, not because necessarily they’re trying to do bad things, but because they’ve got to justify these valuations. So, that’s one more reason why it is really important for us to have a competent government and a serious bipartisan conversation around this issue, and we have to do it fast. And I would encourage voters to pay attention to this. If somebody does not have a serious plan for how to deal with this, then they’re not meeting the moment, and you should probably look for somebody else."

If you are new to A.A., find another man / woman in the rooms. Read pages 407-420 titled “Acceptance Was The Answer.” Even if you are in NA, read these pages. Specifically pages 419-420. Read the authors description of the lengths he would go to due to his alcoholism and addiction. If you read these pages and laugh, (like I did), trust me, you belong and you are in the right place. #RecoveryPosse #AA #themoreyouknow

It was easy for me to believe in God, but it was not easy for me to TRUST GOD. My self=will always return. That battle with your self, ego, fear, and control happens daily. Either God wins, or your self-will wins. Life is sooo much easier when God wins. #RecoveryPosse #themoreyouknow

Alcoholics were BUILT to drink. Every day an alcoholic doesn't drink, it is quite literally a MIRACLE. Always remember this fact as you fight to remain sober... Just for today. #RecoveryPosse

Doing absolutely nothing, is extremely difficult. That's why most of us never do it. We were conditioned to have our motor running at all times. Doing absolutely nothing is advanced self-care.

As an alcoholic addict… *My will *My thinking *My mind… Are all synonymous. If the disease centers in my mind, and if my thinking is my problem… Well the MY WILL… The more you know… #RecoveryPosse
