When will Nigeria wake up? I mean, social media has become a problem for us because what exactly have we done with all the information we’ve gathered on this space? Every day, we expose corruption, discuss injustice, trend hashtags and express our anger. But what has really changed? We need to understand that social media trends/protests alone will not chase these hardened criminals out of Government House. Even when we come out to protest, a little tear gas from the police sends everyone running. Instead of preparing ourselves for the possibility of attacks and learning how to protect ourselves and respond safely to tear gas, we keep making the same mistakes. We have seen young students in countries like France stand their ground during protests despite the use of tear gas. So why do we keep going into protests without adequately preparing for the challenges we already know we may face? I'm not saying people should put their lives at unnecessary risk. But if we already know that peaceful protests may be met with force, shouldn't we be better organised, better informed and better prepared to protect ourselves? We cannot keep repeating the same approach and expecting a different result. At what point do we move beyond social media outrage and begin taking sustained, organised action to demand accountability? When will Nigerians wake up?

An average MRI machine cost $250,000 (375,000,000). Dayo Israel shared 7 brand new 2026 Prado SUVs at the cost of 165 million per unit which cost 1.1 billion ($825,000). Dayo Israel is the Chairman, federal medical center in Abeokuta, which is a specialist hospital with ZERO MRI machine. None at all. The 7 SUVs can purchase 3 MRI machines. Please vote out these wasteful losers in 2027!!

CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS! Nobody has monopoly of Rascality, somebody should warn eBola Tinubu!
CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS. ENOUGH OF THE HARASSMENT OF MY SUPPORTERS. RELEASE RILWAN OLAWALE NOW. The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable. President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence. Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion. We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK. I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawale’s arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice. We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights. A New Nigeria is POssible and will be OK. -PO

Nigerian youths’ docility is a blessing to the APC and Tinubu. Across the world, students, youths and Gen Z are actively participating in democratic processes, challenging their leaders and demanding accountability. But in Nigeria, na TikTok dance, social media distractions and yeye arguments we dey busy with. Una go soon realise say while una dey argue over nonsense, corrupt politicians are busy mortgaging una future. By the time reality hits, una go understand say the future una suppose protect don already slip through una fingers.

They’re distributing cars costing billions of Naira to themselves like handbags, while doctors are on strike because of unpaid salaries. We don’t have any government hospital in the country with two functioning ambulances even, but they’re distributing cars to themselves. I’m just speechless. Our actions need to do the talking, because they never seem to hear us.
