🚨New paper alert🚨
Skin stretches when we move, but how complex are these patterns? How may this be encoded?
Local postural changes elicit extensive and diverse skin stretch around joints, on the trunk and the face - now in @RSocPublishing Interface

New paper with @YueDu12. We used a timed-response approach to compare the speed of action inhibition and action initiation, and find they are identical.
We speculate that inhibition and initiation might in fact be two sides of a single ‘whether or not to act’ decision.
New research in #Jneurophysiol "#ActionInitiation and #ActionInhibition follow the same time course when compared under matched experimental conditions" by Yue Du et al.
