Thoughts @kprather88?
Aerosol covid thought: choir outbreaks (eg Skagit) taken as evidence for disease spread from upper airways through vocalisation. But choral singing also involves deep breathing, producing finer particles from lower airways. What's the latest research on which is more infectious?

Given that's been the rule for a while, why didn't people criticise it at any time in the past, which would have been more convincing, rather than waiting until it affects a politician on their own side?

I did a bit more digging about a recent BBC news article about how installing air quality monitors had a 'dramatic' effect on health.
It is an initiative by @sthelenscouncil and @WarringtonBC called the Healthy Air for Healthy Lungs project.
So what's it all about?...

In free societies, masked government thugs don't kidnap people off the street, no matter what they've done. People defending or tolerating this, on the basis that Rumeysa Ozturk probably holds unpleasant views about Israel and/or Jews, have no idea what they're signing away.

Last night, a group of settlers attacked the home of Hamdan Bilal, who directed No Other Land.
His house was attacked and he was badly beaten. While wounded and bleeding, soldiers entered the ambulance he had called. He’s being held in a police station at a nearby settlement.

It’s the 5 year anniversary of one of the most baseless and idiotic predictions of all time.
Whenever they claim “the scientists got it all wrong”, remember what they were predicting.

Very good thread on a recent UCL study of ventilation and air cleaners in hospitals. The headline in some media outlets ("could help the virus!") were - misleading. This explains very well what they did and didn't find. My further thoughts below 1/
This is unsurprising: if you smell gas in the kitchen, open a window & door to create a draft to disperse it, that will mean some gas going through to the hall, as it gets blown away. (But this *does not* mean that ventilating your downstairs can in any sense "increase risk"!) 3/
You’re only “getting out of your bubble / echo chamber” if you’re making a genuine attempt to understand the views of people who disagree with you, rather than just to argue with them (/dunk on straw man versions of their views)

My YouTube channel, where I discuss aerosol science and human health, has reached a milestone today. With only 6 videos, the total view count just passed 5,000. Not bad. Thanks to anyone who took the time to watch any video, and for sharing them.
