Our performance last Saturday was top drawer and we come into today's fixture in high spirits after a well-deserved 2-0 win against a decent @BicknorFC side.

This afternoon we travel to the Forest to take on @bicknor_fc in @GNSLOfficial Div 1.
We come into today's fixture with good momentum following back-to-back victories, capped off by last weekend's comfortable 4-1 win away at @LydneyTownAFC Reserves.
Bicknor finished top 4 last season, so the pressure is on them at home. But as a newly promoted side with real belief in our squad, we're ready for the test!

WEEKEND FINAL WHISTLE 📢
A tough opening day lesson. @stonehouse_town Res punished our 1st half mistakes ruthlessly, leaving us 3-0 down at the break.
Stonehouse Res 3-1 Baros
⚽ Joe Finch (Pen)
⭐ Joe Finch
🐔 Dec O'Shea & Ryan Young
We showed more life after the interval with our subs making an impact.
Only late pressure paid off when Louis Hyde won a penalty, which Joe Finch slotted home. We created two solid chances in added on time, but the hosts defended resolutely and deserved all 3pts.
Not the start we wanted, but plenty to work on in training before our next game (Weds 12th Aug) Vs Charfield or Wickwar in the Reg Davis Cup. 🏆
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the lads! 👏
Also, thanks to @stonehouse_town for their hospitality 🤝
