Don’t think people are really deeping how good our start has been
7/8 W’s in the PL having played some extremely difficult games
2 W’s and a D in the CL, having gone to Bayern and played a superb game
All on the back off a WC and winning the PL. Small sample size indeed but the ability to go again after winning is one of the hardest things to do. All managers at the top say this. Yet, our group look as motivated as ever.
As far as I’m concerned, any rhetoric that is overly negative is artificial.

Madueke probably got angry that he was snubbed by Tuchel during the international break.
He didn’t moan about. He knew why he was snubbed. He wasn’t playing for Arsenal. Maybe for form, maybe for his body, but he went in and used that snub, that international break to get himself back to the level where the manager has no choice but pay attention again.
When everyone went to play for their national teams, he was probably one of the senior players left behind because he wasn’t invited at all. His response to that snub must be heartwarming for both Arteta and Tuchel.
That’s how to react to being left behind. Go in, play football and get your shirt. The ability is there.
Any manager who plays you at the World Cup doesn’t dislike you. It’s nothing personal.
