I feel like I also need to get things off my chest too, so apologies for the rant. Calling someone manipulative because they post their throne link, which is not in any way forcing you to do anything, is ridiculous. You are grown ass adults making conscious choices to fund someone. You are not being held at gunpoint to fund anyone for anything, if you choose to do so then that is your CHOICE. What's manipulative is funding someone expecting something in return and when you don't get it, turning on the person because now you regret it or they didn't fulfill expectations that YOU made YOURSELF. Stop making donations expecting things in return, whether its for popularity, for friendship, to make someone do something or anything more. You shouldn't give any donations expecting anything back. That's not a donation, that's a transaction. If you have a problem seeing people's throne posts because they annoy you or you dont like the throne posting, guess what? There's an unfollow button, a mute button? Use it. People should be allowed to post whatever they want on their own page. If they post their own throne link on their own page 15 times a day? That's fine, who is that harming?? Literally nobody. They aren't forcing you to dono, they aren't forcing you to share or even interact. If you CHOOSE to donate, that also doesnt mean they suddenly "owe" you and you have rights to tell someone what they should, or should not do. They do not owe you. This is seriously frustrating seeing it affecting others too, because this is the main reason I have stopped posting my own throne link as well. People are too busy policing others actions that they suddenly forget to police themselves. I have also given a lot to the people of this community, I have never once expected anything in return and that's how it should be. I will never "blame" someone else for any of my donos because I GAVE them, it was MY choice. They do not owe me. Please lets go back to being kind and supportive for the selflessness of it, and if you dont want to please just move on. Everyone should be allowed to share their links freely and not feel constantly uncomfortable in a community they literally helped build. And to the real fairies out there, those of you who give with no expectations, no catch, no gain, nothing but your own kindness and selflessness, thank you truly for everything 🩷
