AI AGENTS CAN NOW SHOP ONLINE AND COMPLETE CHECKOUTS WITHOUT EVER SEEING YOUR CARD DETAILS
@agentlayer_ai just introduced Vaults, giving AI agents the ability to securely complete online purchases using payment cards without exposing sensitive card information to the agent itself.
introducing vaults
over the past few months, we've been building infrastructure that gives your agents access to financial services, from swaps and lending/borrowing to x402 payments and fiat card issuance
starting today, agents can also securely pay at online checkouts
- closed-loop flow: your agent issues a card (via @LasoFinance ), which goes straight into the vault without ever exposing its details to the agent. it then opens a browser session and uses autofill to complete the checkout
- you can also bring your own card by securely adding it to the vault via CLI
- all secrets stay local, protected by your machine's keychain
giving agents the tools to execute across key areas of finance makes them more autonomous and empowers them to pursue the frontier

AgentLayer is very well made. It's often what we use internally when testing.
Try it out today.

well played, apple
Apple quietly rolled out local models and started powering Siri with LLMs (combining local and cloud-based models)
here's the interesting part: you can already use extensions with it. they approached this in a very curious way - to connect an extension, you need to download the app from the AppStore. Yes! The forgotten appstore is becoming an ai plugin marketplace. if you really want to reach your customers, you should build an app, not an MCP/plugin
Siri can also handle your passwords and credit cards with autofill (currently unavailable due to beta restrictions), and access and interact with apps on your mac
Siri can use chatgpt as an extension, so you can interact with it using your voice on your mac without even opening an app (think they'll expand this to other AI apps, like claude and gemini, and it will become the default interface for interacting with your agents on mac)
It's already available on macos 27. a lot of features are visible in settings but aren't accessible yet. still, the direction apple is taking seems really well thought out
playing the last-mover game, as always
send money to people and agents right inside @muse
seamless transactions: using @arc, you can send @usdc without holding an extra gas token; don't worry about running out of eth or sending to a fresh wallet
wallet connected to your google/github account, use it across different agents
fast connection, nothing to download, just mcp

the future of agentic cards belongs to stablecoin cards (like @jupiter @ether_fi), i think
1) stables environments are already native to agents, and getting even better every day, thanks to the efforts of many developers
2) banks enforce too many regulations to make things move fast enough
3) stabless are pretty cheap, transparent, and headless. they also give you a lot of opportunities to earn yield on them
current agentic commerce flows are driven by cards issued by humans and given to agents via link, vaults, etc. soon agents themselves will be card issuers
@agentlayer_ai working on it
make your agent proactive in finance
with the latest release, your agent checks your morpho positions and tells you when your money could be earning more
- checks twice a week
- finds better vaults for the same asset, based on realized 7d and 30d net APY, not one-day spikes
- moves your position with one confirmation: withdraw, then deposit. nothing moves until you approve
your agent now makes your life a little easier and helps your money earn more
update to the latest release:
wallet update --yes
or, if you haven't installed it yet, just ask your agent to set it up:

that was the initial thesis behind @agentlayer_ai: existing, traditional financial institutions are not suitable for the agentic era. this idea motivated me to start building it this February.
agents need permissionless tools
AiFi belongs to defi
JPMorgan Chase just blocked Instinct and Muse
We’ve now seen blocking as an official policy (or at least reported behavior by users) from: Amazon, Yelp, Resy, United, eBay and so many more
However, with great pain points come great opportunity!
That is the beauty of capitalism - where there is a problem, there is a solution to be built
And this problem seems far to great of an opportunity to ignore
