twitter used to be THE primary place for networking akin to a freelancer LinkdIn and getting cooperate gigs for many artists, but now its become a place where beginners devalue the own work and non-artists bitching about prices. twitter is not artist friendly anymore
My (self-indulgent) theory is that X is Montague. We'll end up foiling him at the end of the mini-season, but since he's in cahoots with Midas, he's able to fall back to him and then we see them both as dual antagonists in CH8.
"...and I'm the King of Hell." 😈👑✨
Crowley art I forgot to post! I love him so much, I really ought to draw him more.

Yikes, hey so it’s not cool to promote yourself on someone else’s commission post; just because you don’t like their higher prices doesn’t make it okay to do that

Charge what you think your art is worth!! Commissions aren't a necessity, and no one is entitled to your work. 🌞🎨

Dear artists
Price your commissions at however much you want
The people who complain were never gonna buy your stuff anyways

Seeing younger artists, artists my age, promoting themselves on the back of an unfair wave of hate directed at another artist already integrated into the industry and just thinking "are you guys stupid??"

I see more and more young artists complaining about prices other artists are charging for things.
As an older guy now who’s been a professional artists for decades let me just weigh in.
First, the market and their audience decides prices, not other artists. When you whine about other artists you sound bitter. Not a good look.
Second, if you’re constantly complaining about high art prices you’re essentially a participant in cultivating a culture that monetarily devalues art. Good luck making a living yourself with art in the future in the world you’re creating.
Third, watch out for being a crab in the bucket. Always trying to pull down the ones above you trying to move up. If you know people like this in real life you know you hate being around them.
Lastly, the internet thrives on negativity not goodness. Try and use it for good.

If an artist's prices are too expensive then don't buy it and LIVE YOUR LIFE. If they're overcharging, nobody will buy their work and they'll get no clients or money. The universe will serve them right, there's no need for you to tell them anything.
