With Qantas so good at losing luggage, I really hope they manage to do it with piece of shit corpse that is Pell. Dump that waste of space somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.
I’ve had these forks for about a decade, and only now that I’m part way through my meal, I notice one of the prongs is not right. I now can’t use this fork, and have to check all the other forks, and probably replace a lot of forks. Thanks for attending my neurodivergent Ted Talk
Rant: A friend at work asked if I could make some cookies. Told them I would leave them a dozen in a spare locker. Associate asked about some too, so I said same deal.
Made 64 cookies (in bags of 4) to give out to people I like.
But no, that can’t happen.
Thought the pink salt lake had a nice colour to it, so with extra crews on the trams Sunday, took the chance to get some photos. Wrong length lens for what I wanted, but worth a crack.
Another day in Paradise. Well not actually Paradise, the tracks to there were torn up decades ago, but St.Kilda will do the job.
In a bit of a song writing slump at the moment. Only written 7 songs in the last month, and only 2 of those are maybe useable.
So instead I’m trying to cover a seldom covered Beatles track. Anyone want to guess so far? Still a lot of recording and mixing to go.
Two cans exploded in the fridge while I was at work, I guess I had it set too cold.
Anyway, that was a lot of fun cleaning out the caked on cola, from in the fridge and on the floor.
And while I’m here, my rental place sucks. Newish place, but they ignored the insulation code. It was a top of 35° today, currently 14° and raining outside, and 31° in my bedroom. I’m not looking forward to summer.
I have a knack for coming up with riffs or lyrics just as I’m going to bed. Tonight I decided to ignore the need for sleep and write. I’ve ended up with a nice little love ballad. Now to let it simmer overnight and make it good.
The next attempted version of ice cream bread is Cookies & Cream, or is it Creme?
Added in vanilla essence, and each one has an Oreo at the bottom of the patty. I also put the leftover Oreos in the mix. Topped them with some vanilla butter cream, pretty sure that one isn’t creme.

When the recipient printed out, he was standing at the point, so hands it to me.
I said to him “Thanks, but I would have been able to get it myself if it wasn’t for you being in the way.”
My neighbour is learning the drums, which I am really cool with. But I’m thinking of sitting at my drum kit and playing the same beat. Let the drum battle begin!
Playing slide guitar is starting to make more sense now, particularly with Open E tuning.
