here are my learnings on instagram growth as of june 17, 2026
i'll probably change my mind on most of this
but here's my stance after 2.9M views and 50 posts in the last 60 days
in practice: a few strong reels a week beats daily mediocre ones
post at the highest cadence sustainable above your quality bar (3-5 strong reels / wk)
don't drop quality to hit a volume number - reduce frequency before you reduce quality
posted 3 times on instagram last week and hit a big milestone

+ 190 follows
i’m no longer emotional about the performance of each post
fully detached

slow growth, but progress nonetheless
