Rest in peace, Ciara Mageean.
A brilliant athlete, and an even better person.

Ciara Mageean, Rome 2024.
The way she blasts through the two British runners to claim gold.
The epitome of Irish fighting spirit.
She'd tell David Gillick after - 'I didn't grow up playing camogie to get boxed in.'

Got exactly what we deserved. I genuinely can’t get over what we’ve seen from Tuchel there. This feels so much worse than Croatia, Italy, Spain.
It was right there for England, playing well, leading, great options on the bench and he’s just completing botched it tactically. Thrown the initiative away and gone out in pretty pathetic style.
So disappointing.

Arsenal branded cheaters and the destroyers of football when they are in a title race with *checks notes* … Manchester City.

It’s 2019, and Arsenal are finally close to a return to Europe. A win away at Birmingham City will clinch it, but after 79 minutes, the score is still 0-0, with Arsenal struggling to find that crucial breakthrough. Enter, Katie McCabe:

Katie McCabe, the passion and drive you have for this club was impossible to miss. Every single time you stepped onto that pitch, you fought for the badge like it meant everything, and people felt that every time.
You’ve inspired a generation for club and country, but people will remember the little things too, straight over to the fans after that huddle, making sure people felt seen. That connection, that care, is why people admire you the way they do.
Thank you for everything ❤️
WE’VE GOT MCCABE - and we always will 🤍

Snooker people get their priorities so skewiff at times, it hurts my head.
When the sport went to Saudi Arabia - causing great consternation on moral grounds - many in the game fell silent.
When loads of reds are gathered around the black, it's 'the dark side of snooker'.
LOL
You don’t have to like the way Arsenal play, it may not be what you as a neutral want but after 22 years without a title, Arsenal have a 7 point lead. They’ve played beautiful football previously, failed to win things and been laughed at for lacking bottle. It’s about winning.

What unbelievably sad news we are waking up to this morning that John Virgo has died. He has been such a constant in our snooker lives for so long it’s hard to imagine the game without him. As a commentator he will remain forever unmatched. Rest in peace JV.
Pricks like the Morgans really try and blame this on the women's team. Who have played on it 3 times in total since the start of December.. The mens team have played three times in the past 9 days. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE 😡😡😡😡😡
HANG IT IN THE LOURVE 👊👊😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
