I just met 2 disabled friends insulted at the €12 a week in #disabilityallowance. The govt set a benchmark during covid for what a worker needs to live on - disabled people should get same as the Pandemic Unemployment Payment. We have a €20bn surplus, this should be priority.

The #CostOfDisability has again been linked with rising cost of living. But disability is not a one off. The many extra costs are lifelong. Recurring funding needed to make sure people aren't pushed into poverty. It’s very disappointing to see no action on this in #Budget2025
