Important: the Fermi Hard Fork upgrade on the BSC mainnet is scheduled for activation.

🔸 Supported Releases: v1.6.4 and v1.6.5
It is mandatory for all validators and builders to complete the upgrade prior to the fork activation.

To participate, comment directly below to this post by tagging one project you think deserves a spot on Santa’s Builder List.
To spread the Christmas cheer, we’ll also be giving 5 random participants the chance to win a share of 1 BNB.
How it works
🔸 Period: Dec 22 - Dec 29, 2025
🔸 5 winners will be randomly selected and announced shortly after the campaign ends.
🔸 Winners will be selected via a random draw tool (e.g. Simpliers), and prizes will be distributed shortly thereafter.
🔸 All participation steps listed in the announcement post are required to be eligible to win. Multiple mentions do not count.
🔸 Projects must be live on BNB Chain and actively building with an X account that clearly represents the project.
🔸 To keep things fair, spam or impersonation will be removed. The BNB Chain team helps keep the list tidy.

The consecutive block turnLength on BNB Chain has been reduced from 16 to 8.
With this change, the turnLength will minimize reorgs risk, leading to a more stable network.
For builders, if your project predicts the next validator like Block-Builders, make sure to update your parameters to reflect the new 8-block turn.

The Fourier Hardfork release is now available for the opBNB testnet.
This upgrade prepares the network for a 250ms block time from 500ms, which doubles the transaction speed. The upgrade also enhances transaction efficiency and overall network performance.
Scheduled activation:
🔸Testnet: Nov 6, 03:00 AM (UTC)
🔸Mainnet: Early Dec 2025

Reminder: 5 days left for the The BNB Chain Wallet sunset.

Important: The BNB Chain Wallet (BEW) browser extension will officially sunset on Oct 15, 2025.
This means BEW will be removed from extension stores on that date.
But, don't worry, your funds remain safe so let’s walk through what you need to know 👇
The sunset process begins on Sept 15, 2025. From that date, BEW will no longer receive updates, bug fixes, or support.
By Oct 15, it will also be removed from extension stores. Existing users may still be able to access BEW, but it will be entirely at their own risk.
For a smooth transition, here’s what BEW users should do:
🔸 Back up your seed phrase/private keys securely
🔸 Uninstall BEW once you’ve saved recovery info
🔸 Choose a new wallet for future use
Users who already have BEW installed may still be able to access it, but please note: use it at your own risk. For new users, we do not recommend downloading BEW anymore.
To continue managing your assets, we recommend switching to a trusted alternative like @TrustWallet, @BinanceWallet, @MetaMask or one of the other wallet solutions listed on our site below:
