Life rewards courage. The person who is brave enough to bet on something or someone—as long as they avoid irreversible mistakes like running out of cash or going to jail—is in a position to win.

Want an electric car? I bought an I3 electric car from @BMW. At just 50,000 miles, it died, requiring a $12,000 repair that is taking ONE MONTH, BMW “can’t” provide a loaner car. Easily the worst company I’ve ever worked with, putting out hot garbage and calling it luxury. #bmw – at Berthoud, CO

Mental toughness is often portrayed as determination and persistence, but it can also be flexibility and adaptability. - I can be happy anywhere - I can work with what I have - I can have a good day with anyone You are tough when your mood is not dependent on your conditions.

On the ground, a rock is just a rock. But when moving at high speed through the atmosphere, a rock becomes a meteor—alive with fire and burning bright. People are not so different. Without activity, we are lifeless and dull. When moving fast and taking action, we come alive.

Life is a series of tradeoffs, and greater results usually require greater tradeoffs. The question is not, “Do you want to be great at this?” The question is, “What are you willing to give up in order to be great at this?

Tattoos starting at $60 and free tarot readings to celebrate October! 💀 The first Friday of each month, we release new flash sheets for massively discounted rates that day only. For October, of course the flash is spooky themed. #fortcollins #fortcollinstattoo #coloradotattoo – at Colorado, USA
Our HOA denied our request to paint our house white last year, and this week, our neighbors painted their house white. I asked the HOA why, and they explained. Here is the neighbor’s color next to the one we wanted. As you can see, this makes so much sense now.

Everyone is born an artist. Just over the years, it gets beaten out of us, as we’re told we should do something more secure, “something that makes more sense.” (Continued in comments)

“Fear is what stops everybody from doing great things in life. You’re never fearless. Fear is in our DNA. It’s here to keep us alive. It tells us, ‘That’s too risky,’ or ‘Go back to your day job, or you’ll be poor and lose it all and end up starving on the street and die...'"
