Games gone this is embarrassing just as much for the premier league as it is for city. Only way they save face is by getting rid of the owners. Support you local non league team 🔴⚪️

When Lee Sharpe was on holiday in Magaluf in the summer of 1998, he bumped into Dwight Yorke and some of the Aston Villa players on a night out. Sharpe had already spent years playing under Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. Yorke was still at Villa. And once the two of them got talking, the rest of the night became mostly about Old Trafford. “He was just picking my brains about United and Fergie.” Sharpe told him what Ferguson was like. What the club was like. What it was like walking into that dressing room and playing for Manchester United. And Yorke kept asking questions. “What are the women in Manchester like?” By six in the morning, Sharpe had finally had enough. “Yorkey, I’ve got to go.” “I’m done.” That was when Yorke finally mentioned the one detail he probably should have got in a bit earlier. “Thanks for the info.” “I didn’t tell you, but I chatted to Fergie last week and I’m supposed to be meeting Barcelona at nine am.” “I think I’ll give that a miss and sign for United.” Sharpe just looked at him. “You’re telling me now at six am that you’re supposed to be meeting Barcelona at nine?” “Yeah f*** them, I’ll be too hungover for that. See you in Manchester.” A few weeks later, Manchester United signed him from Aston Villa. In his first season at Old Trafford, he scored 29 goals as United won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League. #football

Watching the Mourinho documentary makes you remember how much better football was 15–20 years ago. The characters, rivalries, managers, players, atmosphere, unpredictability. Barely recognisable from the snooze fest it's become

City bidding £120mil for a player Newcastle had to sell to comply with FFP while still having not had a single punishment for 115 charges. On the day Everton are punished yet again for one overpayment that only occurred because of the War in Ukraine. Football has become a farce

If a migrant comes to our country and attempts to saw a man's head off in the street, a Restore Britain Government will not deport. With the British people's approval, that savage will be put to death. But that is not enough - these atrocities will keep happening. The barbarians are already inside the gates. Immigration will end from countries that are proven to supply us with these monsters. Third world migrants who hate our way of life will be removed from our country. Restore Britain will deport millions. I have had enough. The British people have had enough. We do not have to live like this - there is another way. Death penalty, mass deportations, end mass immigration. That is what Restore Britain will do.

I remember watching these come out last year thinking I’d love it if we was part of that. We’re back
Our league allocation for the 2026/27 season has officially landed and it’s fantastic to see Brereton Social back in the National League System. A huge moment for the football club and an exciting step forward not just for us, but for Rugeley and the wider community as a whole. After all the hard work behind the scenes from volunteers, players, staff, sponsors and supporters, we can now look forward to competing in the @nwcfl South for the upcoming campaign. There are some brilliant clubs and exciting fixtures ahead, and we can’t wait to represent the Town at Step 6 football once again. The work continues both on and off the pitch as we prepare for a massive season ahead. Up the Social 🔴⚪
