We are excited to have added Chatt Police Dept. as a new mentoring partner. During their first session with our students, they provided insight into the department and answered all the questions our Mustangs had to include “how heavy is your vest?”

Congratulations to our soon-to-be graduates for making their college and service selections as they close out their educational journey as a Mustang! We wish all of our students well as they embark upon their post-secondary journey!!!

This past Friday, our school co-founder, Dr. Sue Anne Wells, and CEO, Dr. Elaine Swafford, were honored with the Shirley Chisholm Award by @girlsincchatt for their continuous efforts to serve as champions for girls and young women in our community!

Just before school each year, we like to take time to visit the neighborhoods where many of our students live. This year we even had the awesome opportunity to show our new faculty and staff members of both schools where CGLA first opened its doors in 2009.

You know school is about to begin when Dr. Swafford hangs outside to flip burgers for our CGLA & MEHP faculty and staff during summer Professional Development.  We’re ready for our students to return August 8th!!!

Truly an amazing occurrence to see EVERYONE step up and meet the needs of our communities. Today marks the first trip of our Mustang Express 🚐 💨 We will be using our van to make deliveries to help fulfill the needs our students during this period...

Hosting the groundbreaking event for the Bluecross Healthy Place at Highland Park was and early holiday gift! We can't wait to see how this awesome space will transform our school and impact our surrounding community!!!
