Back on X.
Starting from scratch again: Day 1.
Built a small daily tweet board to keep myself accountable. 2,643 tweets later, it's still surprisingly motivating.
I'll be sharing more raw growth lessons from building Newly, experiments that work (and those that don't), plus behind-the-scenes builder notes.
Also... Builder's Mind Podcast is coming back soon. 🚀
My partner loves subway surfer, so made one for her to play around
Just one prompt 🤷♂️
Do you need the prompt?

after Matt Palmer left Replit I DM'd him
asked if he'd jump on a call for growth at Newly
he didn't join. he's at SpaceXAI now.

You can vibe-code a mobile app in an afternoon now.
Building is not the bottleneck.
Distribution is.
That's why I still spend half my week on creators, UGC, and live demos.
Steps:
1. Open
Ran an AI UGC experiment for 2 weeks on IG + TikTok.
5 followers → 1.1K.
Will 10x it if it actually moves MRR. Views don't pay the bills.
I might be one of the few growth people who actually vibe code.
4–5 hours a day building. The rest is UGC, community, live demos.
If you're in growth and you're not one of your most active users, you're guessing.
our creators generated millions of views in 2 months.
everyone asks how we find “viral creators.”
we don’t.
we find people with potential and give them a system:
• paid trials
• proven formats
• multiple hooks for every idea
• fast feedback
• permission to fail and try again
when a format works, we scale it.
when it gets saturated, we find the next one.
UGC isn’t about getting lucky with one creator.
it’s about building a system that helps creators win repeatedly.
no experience? we can teach you.
