My political views don't define me. I promise you that I won't judge you for yours.
For me, your political preference are almost like whether your favorite colour is blue or black.
We have seen this movie with different actors and different languages earlier.
Lovely read. Thanks Prof @nsnigam
The most important aspect in this is use of "directly or indirectly" by the Governor.
Is the RBI determined to ensure Tata Sons lists, or will it allow Tata Sons and Tata Trusts to arrive at their own solution?

An oversimplified look-through valuation in case f Reliance Industries - Jio Platforms!
Reliance Industries current Market Cap is ~ ₹16 lakh crs!
Jio Platforms’ implied Market Cap at the upper end of the IPO price band: ~ ₹10 lakh crore
Reliance holding in Jio Platforms post IPO ~ 64.5%
Jio Platforms value in RIL valuation - ₹6.45 lakh crs
Reliance Industries holds around 594 crores shares of Jio Platforms. So every Rs 100 increase in Jio Platforms Price from Rs 1,119 should add about Rs 60,000 crores to Reliance Market cap. That is about 3.75% of its current market cap.
At RIL's current share price of ~₹1,190, that is a theoretical increase of ~₹45 per RIL share.
All other things being equal, and ignoring any change in the holding-company discount.
Not a price target. Just look-through arithmetic.
Unbelievable
India is building US-style expressways to move freight faster. But many truckers still prefer older roads, where food, repairs and rest stops are cheaper. Aryan Gupta explains what’s putting the country’s $130 billion bet at risk: bloom.bg/4Bn5lr4
He writes like Congress Governments hosted visiting guests at Brihadeshwara Temple in Thanjavur and not Rashtrapati Bhavan or other British built places.
The Gateway behind US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Ambassador Sergio Gor was built by the British colonial government to commemorate King George V and Queen Mary’s 1911 royal visit to Bombay (Mumbai).
Built to celebrate an empire that ruled India, the Gateway stands as a symbol of the colonial stranglehold we fought so hard to overthrow.
It also serves as a timely reminder, a resolve that the neo-colonisers of our times must not be allowed to undermine India’s hard-earned independence and sovereignty.
India is for Indians first. Our energy security, food security and data security — as well as the livelihoods and sustenance of our farmers — cannot be sacrificed for a few words of American flattery to a gullible Modi.

I picked up this @Bloomberg magazine in Dubai in the afternoon for it to be my inflight reading. It is ths INDIA ISSUE.
I have been pretty impressed with the coverage despite me not agreeing with everything I am reading and my inherent bias about Bloomberg editorial.
I have almost finished it before boarding. Been a long long time since I read so much in a single hardcopy magazine. Not a bad effort.
The option trading and the PE in hospitals articles were good reads despite my disagreement with some aspects!!!
How does it matter @scroll_in says we should beat Bangladeshi per capita and become richer than them before anything else.
