Nowdays #memes are popping up everywhere these days, but it’s hard to tell which ones have real potential.
For example, whenever CZ (@cz_binance) or Yi He(@heyibinance) mentions or posts about something, it often gets picked up by social snipers and turned into a new meme coin.
In these cases, there’s usually no website or GitHub repo to be found.

Meme coin market’s still sitting around $30 billion, but it’s brutal.
Thousands of new coins launch every day, yet most are dead within a couple of days.
Only a tiny fraction keep any trading going after a month. Marketing’s got harder too. Throwing money at big influencers doesn’t work like it used to. The ones that actually move are the ones with a real community and tight, consistent content — and you’ve basically got 72 hours to catch attention before it dies.
Chinese meme coins have been doing better than a lot of the usual ones lately. Still a lottery for most traders.

Those staggered passive inflows look too small to flip the near-term flow picture.Concentration’s the awkward bit for me — with Vingroup that big a weight you’re basically watching VIC and how much more cash VinFast still needs. Valuations aren’t stretched, but it doesn’t fix the single-name risk.No Vietnam perps on Hyperliquid makes sense for now. $VNM (with options) still feels like the cleaner way to get long or short.

A few days ago I posted on Threads that I'd be looking into the Vietnamese stock market. Here's my take:
Vietnam is in a pullback phase where the good news has been priced in and foreign capital keeps flowing out.

Where they are
The VN-Index closed around 1,705 last Friday (Oct 16), down from 1,800+ in mid-September and bleeding almost every day since. 52-week range: ~1,578 to 1,937.

The big event: FTSE Russell upgraded Vietnam from Frontier to Secondary Emerging on Sept 21, with passive inflows phased in over four tranches through Sept 2027.
Textbook "buy the rumor, sell the news": the index fell once the upgrade went live.

The core tension: foreigners kept selling the whole time the upgrade was pending, with $8B+ in net outflows since early 2025. The index-driven bid comes in small, staggered slices.
Can the next tranches turn the tide? My bet: probably not.

Valuations aren't stretched, at ~12–13x forward P/E.
But concentration is a real structural risk: Vingroup alone is ~21% of the index, and the top 10 make up more than half. Watching the VN-Index is largely watching Vingroup.

Who is Vingroup? ($VIC)
Vietnam's largest private conglomerate, founded by its richest man, Pham Nhat Vuong. Think Wanda + Evergrande + BYD in one:
• Real estate: Vinhomes ($VHM), Vincom Retail, the cash cow
• EVs: VinFast ($VFS), a perennial money-burner kept alive by the group and Vuong himself
• Plus hotels, hospitals and schools

• $VNAM: Global X MSCI Vietnam, only ~$30M AUM, thin liquidity

两周多前我组织策划了一场@VitalikButerin 的香港闭门会分享。上次见到V是在台北的一个闭门活动上，当时是作为观众，这次是作为策划者和访谈人。 V全程用中文流利作答，还秀了几句很短的俄语，一如既往打扮简朴，因为真正的哲人王是从不会在乎这些外物的。
一年前，把Web2大厂背景的我引入We3 Rabbit hole 的，正是以太坊这一套赛博国家世界计算机的叙事。而这一年里理想主义的ETH密码朋克的市场情绪陷入悲观，天亡项目云集的L2 路线更是导致以太坊生态中资金流动性的碎片化。当然目前EF也已经看到问题所在， 不再执着于保持以太坊主网生态的超然地位、单方面地向 L2 网络输血。前段时间V也发了一篇“削藩文” 喊话鼓励Layer 2 通过贡献一定比例的费用来支持 ETH，当前各种pectra 升级也在积极推动主网的性能提升。
关于以太坊基金会跟政府高墙的关系，很多有意思的观点、甚至触碰政治红线的话题不便展开 。EF基金会前段时间新增了两位新的执行董事以及商业化机构 @Etherealize_io , 已经实属这些年来组织结构上的大变革。EF为何不轻易变动组织结构，在此提供一个嘉宾视角：曾经谷歌的前CEO Eric Schmidt 来竞选以太坊基金会高层，V顶住压力拦了下来。EF如此规模的基金会，已经不是简单的改选换届就能提高效率，它的工作里有一些 社区看不到的 为了维持其去中心化的价值观 从而跟高墙以及代表高墙的利益团体之间斡旋的部分，这决定了它的机构里必须要保有一些价值观纯粹的、值得信任的“老人”。
活动现场提到这个问题时，V的原回答是：He (Eric) may be the dalao (Big Brother) of the prior era, but why should we hang out with him?"
不登天子船，不上长安眠，不向任何主流势力点头哈腰，这才是以太坊的真正魅力所在。从这个角度来说，ETH 已经不仅仅是一个infra，一类数字货币，而是一种纯粹的去中心化的价值观。
十周年之际，如果非要让我给以太坊一句寄语，我总是会想到《春光乍泻》里的那句台词：不如我们从头来过。

His own posts say it is his tool: “I’ll use only @PolyKlast, our tool at @KlastDAO” and “We’re recruiting traders for @KlastDAO. DM me.” The download is not a Microsoft Store app.
Klast AI.appinstaller is a small file from klast.club/download. Opening it makes Windows fetch the real package from app.klast.host/ehahdu82/msix…. The app id is a random GUID, not the name “Klast AI.”
The package is signed by CODE LOFTS d.o.o. That same certificate appears on a public sample disguised as DocuSign. It also installs a Windows App Runtime copy from their server instead of from Microsoft.
If he DMed you, or you came in through @PolyKlast, discord.gg/klast, or t.me/PolyKlast: do not download the tool. Delete every Klast AI.appinstaller file. If you created an account there, change that password.

Blimey, that long-dormant Bitcoin whale’s only gone and shifted about three hundred and seventy-eight million dollars’ worth of BTC after six solid years of doing absolutely sod all. Proper shocked a load of traders, it has — they’re all turning a bit more cautious and critical with their positions now, what with the market being as volatile as it is.
