Kindness isn’t just a feeling; it’s a decision.
Every day, we’re handed the chance to step in, speak out, and choose differently. From what we eat to what we support, our choices can either protect or harm.
When we choose compassion over convenience, we become the ones who interrupt harm. We become the ones who say: not in my name.
Real strength lies in living our values...even when it’s not the norm!
👉 Use your power. Choose kindness; for every animal, every time.

🔒 Prison for the innocent
At Mere Farm our investigation shows mother pigs trapped in metal crates so small they cannot turn to reach their babies. We filmed suffering and violence, including workers killing piglets by thumping and abusing a sow.
This issue is systemic. Demand justice and accountability.
Don't buy animal products!

Animals experience a complex range of emotions; including grief.
It's devastating watching this swan desperately try to bring their deceased partner back to life. But at least they had a life of freedom together.
Billions of other animals only get to experience suffering, violence and grief on industrial farms. By buying animal products, you subject sentient creatures to a torturous existence; do better & choose plant-based food.

Most people just don't think about this. But this is the reality of how milk is made.
Like this post if you didn't always make the connection, but now you have, you take action for them 🐄.
Is this love?
The pig farming industry cuts piglets’ tails off, often without anaesthetic.
Crammed into barren sheds, pigs become so stressed they bite each other’s tails, so the industry cuts their tails off.
The industry calls this care. We call it exploitation.
Animals are not ours to use.
Another trial, another permanent switch! 💚☕
Loose Ends, the creative cocktail bar at the entrance of Nottingham Castle, became the 12th business to trial oat milk as default with Udderly Kind. With around three in every four coffees already made with oat, the switch was a natural fit, and now they’re keeping it for good.

Another cafe has made oat milk their permanent default after a successful trial supported by us and Minor Figures!
Loose Ends is the 12th business to trial oat milk as default, and It went so well, they’ve kept it.
Tom said: “It’s something both our customers and our team really appreciate. I’d completely recommend it to other businesses. Personally, I think it makes a lovely coffee.”
It sounds like a small change. But every time someone orders a coffee here, they’re asked “is oat milk okay?” Instead of normalising cows’ milk or supporting an industry built on exploitation.
Know a café that should try this? Tell us in the comments.
The story continues to reach national news!
Thank you to the Daily Mail for reporting on Animal Justice Project’s undercover investigation at Innovis’s pig farm in Burgh Castle, Norfolk.
Former worker Steve Woolger has been given a suspended prison sentence, a £1,654 fine and a 10-year ban on working with 'farm animals', after evidence from our investigation showed him kicking pigs and striking them with a pitchfork.
But this isn’t just one bad worker. The farm collected boar semen went to Red Tractor and RSPCA Assured farms across the UK. These are the labels shoppers are told to trust.
Behind closed doors, animals are treated as products to be bred, used and sold. Without undercover investigations, none of this would be seen.
Animals are not ours to use. 🐖

Our undercover investigation at Innovis’s pig farm in Burgh Castle has been covered across the BBC: on TV, online, and by Paul Hayes on BBC Radio Norfolk.
Animal Justice Project’s investigators filmed over 800 hours inside, recording the lives of pigs most people never see. That evidence led to former worker Steve Woolger pleading guilty to eight offences, and he has now been sentenced.
The farm was Red Tractor certified, and its boar semen was shipped across the UK to Red Tractor and RSPCA Assured farms. These labels are sold to shoppers as the gold standard. So what are they really assuring?
This story is bigger than one worker. For many people in Norfolk, this farm is local. It’s part of an industry that breeds, uses and sells animals as products, and it depends on that staying out of sight.
Animals are not ours to use. Thank you to the BBC for helping people see what goes on behind closed doors. 🐖

Thank you to Paul Hayes and BBC Radio Norfolk for covering our undercover investigation at Innovis’s pig farm in Burgh Castle, near Great Yarmouth.
Our investigators recorded over 800 hours of footage inside, documenting many instances of what life is like for the pigs kept there. That evidence led to former worker Steve Woolger pleading guilty to eight offences, and he has now been sentenced.
But this isn’t only about one worker or one sentence. Places like this are built on treating animals as things to be bred, used and sold. That’s true on farms everywhere, including the ones down the road. Because 'local' never meant ethical.
Animals are not ours to use.
Undercover investigations show what this industry relies on keeping hidden. 🐖
Follow us if you won't turn away from the realities of animal agriculture.
Without undercover investigations, this would never have come to light.
Behind closed doors, animals are treated as products, not as the individuals they are. No one is watching, and no one is held to account. The evidence we collected inside a Norfolk pig farm changed that.
Former worker Steve Woolger has pleaded guilty to eight offences after our investigation showed him striking and kicking pigs. He was given:
🔸 17 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months
🔸 £1,654 fine
🔸 10-year ban on working with farm animals
Because the sentence is suspended, he’s unlikely to spend a day behind bars unless he offends again.
One conviction won’t change an industry built on treating animals as commodities. That’s why we’ll keep exposing what it tries to hide. 🐖
And we will never give up.

⚠️ Content warning: animal cruelty.
This is the footage that brought Steve Woolger to justice.
Our investigators filmed the former Norfolk pig farm worker striking pigs with a pitchfork, kicking them and hitting them with a plastic pipe. He pleaded guilty to eight animal welfare offences.
His sentence:
🔸 17 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months
🔸 A £1,654 fine
🔸 A 10-year ban on keeping or working with farm animals
The prison sentence is suspended. Unless he offends again in the next 18 months, he’s unlikely to spend a single day behind bars.
This is a step towards accountability, but it can’t undo what these pigs went through. Watch, share, and help make sure what happens behind closed doors never stays hidden. 🐖

⚖️ SENTENCED.
Former Norfolk pig farm worker Steve Woolger pleaded guilty to eight animal welfare offences after our undercover investigation caught him striking pigs with a pitchfork, kicking them and hitting them with a pipe.
He has now been given:
🔸 17 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months
🔸 A £1,654 fine
🔸 A 10-year ban on keeping or working with 'farm animals'
Although he was handed a prison sentence, which would be considered a 'win' by many standards, it is suspended. Which means unless he offends again in the next 18 months, he’s unlikely to spend a single day behind bars.
This is an important step towards accountability, but it can’t undo the harm he caused. The pigs he hurt lived through fear and pain that no sentence can make right.
Without our footage, none of this would have come to light. What happens behind closed doors doesn’t always stay hidden. 🐖

Will justice be served for pigs today?
In 2023- 2024, our investigators went undercover inside Innovis Ltd’s GTC East boar stud in Norfolk. What they filmed led to a prosecution by Norfolk County Council Trading Standards against Steven Woolger, who plead guilty to all charges under the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
Today, we await the court’s decision.
Whatever the outcome, this case shows why undercover investigations matter: what happens behind closed doors doesn’t always stay hidden. 🐖
For the animals, always.
‘Free range’ is a marketing term. The reality looks nothing like the adverts.
Free range or caged, egg production begins and ends with exploitation and violence.
Even if hens were never harmed, their eggs are not ours to take, because animals are not ours to use.
#GoVegan #AnimalRights #ChooseCompassion
Why? Because the dairy industry depends on exploiting the reproductive systems of cows.
The industry forcibly impregnates mother cows so their bodies produce milk.
It takes their babies from them within days of birth and sells the milk meant for those babies.
When a mother cow can no longer produce enough babies or milk, the industry sends her to slaughter.
No animal, regardless of sex or species, exists for another's benefit.
Animals are not ours to use.
She is someone... and yet that is apparently not obvious.
Many just see her as a collection of parts 💔
