I got @Starlink last week for $130 a month. I spent a full day getting it installed and all my devices working with it. I get an email less than a week later saying my plan is increasing to $156. You're telling me you offer me a plan, make me drill holes in my home, and then raise the price less than a week later? Even Comcast doesn't do that. I have options luckily, but this is so disappointing.

I am building my own cyber model from scratch. Fun experience. Having spent nearly 20 years in cybersecurity this was a different beast. So much I needed to learn. I am close to beating leading ones now in private benchmarks and serving on commodity hardware.

There are many games in life. Some give great rewards with great risk. Others have you traveling across the land searching far and wide. We have power to release good and evil in this world. Rewards should be the memories and impact we make, not the dollars we collect from winning battles. Our careers are the same. Most people choose maximizing our rewards and accept the memories and impact that happens afterwards. You can be Lance and try to right the wrong in this world yourself. While others join Team Rocket and believe their mission statement like protecting the world from devastation, while causing great harm in the process. You have to try or you'll never win no matter the game. You also have the power to impact everyone with your decisions. Even if it means spending your battle dollars on a chance at a shiny Porygon. Our hearts can be true, but our courage has to pull us through. You teach me and I'll teach you.

The Big 4 (Anthropic, OpenAI, Xai, Google) are getting threatened by the governement now for regulatory capture. The founders are rolling in their graves. This is restricting access to speech, arms, property, and the pursuit of happiness all in one. A super violation of our constitutional rights. The leaders of frontier Labs were forced to say what they said in recent days because if they didn't they would be shutdown. This is incredibly scary and should make all Americans alarmed that care about freedom and the American way of life.

Just keep trying. The worst that happen is you die in a energy blast.
