Imagine if the PM & govt took action to stop the epidemic of misogynistic male violence against womeninstead of saying “turn down the temperature” on social media.
The commentary is a symptom, not the cause!
We send our best wishes for recovery to Helen Haines and her family.
Palantir- the worst of the worst!
The Australian government has also awarded them contracts.
Due to public pressure, Coles has announced they will not renew its contract in 2027.
Keep up the pressure!
Protesters gathered outside of London's Palantir headquarters on Thursday to demand the UK's National Health Service (NHS) end its £330 million contract with the US tech giant.
The demonstration was part of a nationwide Day of Action, calling attention to Palantir's ties to ICE, the Israeli military, and the US Department of Defense– the "worst of the worst," according to medical professional Jason Smith.

Chilean police violently repressed a Santiago student protest with water cannons and teargas on Thursday. The mobilization – which took place a day after President Jose Antonio Kast introduced the 2027 Budget Bill – was called as part of the National Education Strike protesting potential cuts to education funding.
The day of action was called by the Confederation of Students of Chile (CONFECH) under the slogan "Not a peso less for education." Workers, lawyers, and teachers joined the march along with the students.
Local media reported at least 25 arrests.
When students and workers unite, there will be no stopping us!
The guard dogs of capital won’t be able to stop the struggles against the wealthy who exploit the rest of us and the planet!
Unionised workers in Le Havre step up. A true example of “touch one, touch all”!
Meanwhile in Australia, union bosses protect weapons parts manufacturing companies, sit on their boards, making themselves & Australia complicit in gen-o-cide.
Students & workers unite!
#France — In Le Havre, unionized workers who came to support high school students following a police attack on them formed a human chain to protect the students.
“The government cries poor when pressed on social spending, but on the military? A bottomless pit. That’s not “fiscally responsible”. That’s priorities – and we, the people, are low on the list.”
Australia's defence spending is outpacing inflation - a 38% increase over the past five years compared to inflation at 24%.
Defence also has an eye-watering $425bn decade-long investment commitment.
But when it comes to social services - like free childcare or universal dental - the government's response is the same: the need to be "fiscally responsible".

Every human being has equal value. Every single one.
At the United Nations General Assembly, I challenged a world that still decides whose lives deserve protection and whose suffering can be ignored.
No race is superior. No people are disposable. Until we honour that truth, "everywhere is war" remains a warning we have failed to heed.
What the world needs now is love, with the courage to confront injustice and defend our shared humanity.
Love and a little kindness. For everyone.

⭕ Israeli Drone Attack Kills Palestinian Child and Paramedic in Gaza City
Israeli forces killed a 15-year-old Palestinian boy and 23-year-old Palestinian Civil Defence paramedic Sherif Shadi Lubbad in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, Healthcare Workers Watch reports.
The monitoring group said it was a double-tap strike: an Israeli drone first attacked a civilian, then struck again as Lubbad attempted to rescue the wounded person. Several others were also wounded. Footage of the strike is linked in the post quoted below.
Ban Israel genocide bonds.
Australians are being invited to help the Israeli genocide effort in Palestine — by investing in Israeli War Bonds:
“These Israeli bonds are fundamentally designed to finance the escalating costs of conflict.
“This includes substantial military expenditures, critical infrastructure repairs, and the broader financial burdens of a nation at war.”
